I might have kept the twist for about 3 days. I had just started experimenting with style and didnt know how to maintain yet. Now I can keep twist for up to two weeks and a twist out for a week!!! woooowhoooo!

I know what you mean. I have that texture as well. In the back of my head, my texture is very loose. The middle and top of my head have the tighest curls.

I love the 'out' anything styles.. coil out, twist out, braid out. I love the chunky fro look. Yup my hair is the opposite of mine... mine is loose/wavy top middle to front and the back and sides are much kinkier. Crazy thing... when I had perm that part of my head rarely got completely straight. It's amazing the things you find out about your hair when you go natural. I love it. Congrats on your first twistout it looks good. I was so eager to do my first twistout back in Jan.
