  • Love this track El-P rips the shit out of his verse. Gotta admit though that Aesop Rock wore on me. he just sound like he putting verses together that sound cool. I'm sure they mean something, but after multiple listenings he just sound silly.

  • el-p just kills this, then aes comes in and raps pretty much bout nothin. i mean, sure he probably has some meaning behind it, but am i really gonna waste my time to decipher every line? 1-800-LAZERFACE! It was right under your POODLESKIRT!

  • arguably two of the illest raps on bazooka tooth, which is jam-fuckin-packed with them

  • sorry el-p is one of the most brutally sick emcess ever period esoteric would melt in his presence like a swooning groupie...and you knwo aes rock is one of the sickest anyway this song is an atom bomb to wack rappers

  • fuck you in 3D, easy...

  • never seen people ride aesop and diss el-p.. both spit deep with raw styles, i think u all just hunting youtube beef? lol good for u

  • Esoteric and Aesop are two of my favorites!!

  • your not hip hop...

  • @clam266 *You're

  • questa e rap sti scemi

  • based on the fact that el-p can't fucking rap he actually doesn't belong on a track dissing anybody, period. that kind of goes with basic unspoken rules of hip hop culture. if your flow is parapalegically whack STFU. lol. esoteric for all of the pissant shit he's done has one of the most important styles of awhile wrt flow.

  • 7L and esoteric and the entire boston scene are hugely freakin important. el-p is like the 2000 decade version of the rza i.e. in 1992 rza looks at what the east coast is doing and owns the shit out of it until it is until its dead, based on scienctifcally overstanding the shit out of it until its fucking dead. compare el-p's BEATS to someone else on this planet. can't? rest my case.

  • @garfus2 if no one elses beats sound like his beats then they're innovative. on the remixes where els beats are straight 4/4 you could hear the rhythmic alignment.

  • Garfus2, I couldn't tell if you were blowing The Rza or Smashin' him, either way, what kind of name is Garfus? out of curiosity I won't say anything about it until I know what's up

  • I just listened to about 5 or six songs from 7L and Esoteric, and the beats are disgusting, basic and repetitive as fuck, but the lyricism is dope as fuck, El-P's rap can suck 7L / Esoterics dick, but Aesop Rock is still dope as fuck

  • This Video Is A Big Inspiration to My Music. Please Check out my new song "Let it all go by Flomaticc"

Please Comments & Reviews. If you like anything you hear download it @ Flomaticc . com

  • Wow, all the comments sound like a bunch of old lady gossipy busybodies who's lives revolve around the national inquirer. Just enjoy the music and let the M.C.s do the talking....

  • Yeah, some of these cats are acting like they are talking about their boys, people they know. Why would you let a stranger's personal beef influence the artists you listen to? Kinda silly. Both crews are hot, so whatever. This track is killer.

  • I'm almost 100% positive due to Celph's beatdown on Cage and his terrorizing of him that it made Cage switch to that gay style he's on now. I think Cage realized playing the part of a tough guy doesn't work for him, cause he got punked in so many ways I was embarrased for him. Even when he did get a chance to get @ Celph, he did such the coward move, it was even more embarassing. You could tell how scared he was of Celph.

  • @Marxmansinama i never knew why cage switched up. i thought he was getting influenced by eyedea playing in bands and camu dying.

  • all you guys who are talking the esoteric demigod celph title cage blah blah blah def jux blah blah battle ish,no this song was before that, this is mearly addressing folks more like YOU on the internet they were dissing them in general and saying they werent hip hop n shit ,that beef came after this.............pz

  • I heard this was about all the beef they had with 50...!

  • Man, I can not get with this. Well, I sorta can. I don;t agree with El-p's assertations about the music 7L & Esoteric make. There is nothing with crafting music in the same vein as those that inspired you, especially if like 7l and Es it is quality shit. El-p should know that, he has been doing it for years(COUgh *Kool Keith & The Bomb Squad COugh). I agree, however, if this was Crew beef AP and Celph titled should have been tackling el-P, not the fell off Eso. Still, Aseop Rock;'s verse Harsh

  • this is a jump on diss track...not directed to anyone ..but draws out haters who think they were attacked..eso got caught and is now a nobody

  • Dont quote me on this but i thinkk it started with Cage and Eso. than Copywrite jumped in, cause he has diss tracks for Eso as well. than Celph jumped in. So El-P being the HNIC jumped in with Aesop. this song KILLS all the other diss tracks between the 2 crews though. i think theres like 8 total

  • I dunno 7700 year to date was pretty damn solid too.

  • honestyl..celph and ap would be the only ones up to these guys level...a face to face battle would be wayy too much

  • Cage dissed eso after he was brought up on his msgboard. Cage wouldn't let shit go, so demigodz fronted and challenged cage to a battle at cages show and he backed out. Copywrite ran away, and then cage got smacked up by celph. Celph got bottled by cage and then punched by a random when he was talking to El-P at a cage show, trying to end the beef.... Cage then got... well... he's now emo for a reason... and not fronting like he's something he's not...

  • EL -P comes grimey with the beat and the verbals.

  • dope fucking song

  • this is hip hop right here fuck everbodys thoughts

  • "We're Famous" and "Dolorean" are fuckin TIMELESS CLASSICS

  • @DCDirtBag ye im feelin that

  • They've been failing for years and call themselves Vets, that's bold

Motherfucker, you're not a Vet you're just old

I'll slap the shit out you to continue my nerd rap

Making this money fist over fist, fuck what you heard

sounds like a diss to Tony Gayo

  • It's a specific diss to 7L & Esoteric, who gave El a demo and El didnt want any part of it, so a war started..

  • It wasn't over a demo. Don't go spreading assumptions.

  • That's the story I heard on record, but rather than trying to shoot me down, why don't you educate us, asshole. What "really" happened?

  • no...this is WAY older than hip-hop is dead.

  • intro talking about nas and his "hiphop is dead" album and how he's stuck in 94?

  • no this song came out way before hte hip hop is dead album came out

  • yea its older than that, but absolutely applies

  • yup yup thats what i mean

    the application to it

  • i agree with the cat who said ''el-p verse is inspirational.

ive bumped this shit so loud to suckers who only listen to the radio and so and so, and so many ppl have this look like 'whaaat the fuck'' mouthed by moe d in beat street haha

  • man aesop rock is kool haha so glad i dated a bitch so her brother could entroduce me to this bom musik

  • "Fraggle rock your four figure watch

    I clock ninety-nine cent wristbands

And still know the time when you record flops"

How do you touch that? I mean if you were in a battle with him and he came out with that, you'd have to walk off stage. And he ends it with, "B-boy, feed that to the needy, shut your liquor hole, fuck you in 3D easy." Ridiculous. Ace is the best.

  • Yeah that was brutal. In person I would've either punched his lights out or quit rapping. Ever lol

  • this is an esoteric and his squad of underground "thug" rappers diss*********

  • this is an esoteric and his squad of underground "thug" rapper.

  • el-p killed it. so inspirational.

  • this track is dope.. old shit bazooka tooth..=

  • This is great, the only thing that is kind of distracting is the old school astroids sound in the background but its better than the other club remix I heard

  • thats why I uploaded this song because the only thing on youtube was some whack club mix

  • El-P breaks it down to the fine line

also, i'm not sure, but i think there's a mix with a Prefuse73 beat and glitches, or whatever. it's sick.
