For all those bitches out there who say there was no sm two for usa it depends on watch you mean. If you mean the one with the fat ass frog who hates vegetables, it came to usa. But if you mean the one with exact same graphics as the original sm except completely new levels and much harder, then ur right. That one was only for the japs.
@ryanwuggles2 nope. If you play the game normally, there are goombas. Play it again after you beat the game, the goombas are now buzzy beetles. All so there is a star next to world. Play the game after beating star world, and the game starts again on... star world. There is no difference after you beat the game more than twice.
If you go and actually play the whole game without taking even one warp zone you get to go to world 9, 3 levels of the credits and the most crazy levels you ever saw.
In the original you wouldn't get the A,B,C,D worlds unless you beat the game (cheating or not) 8 times in a row. Good thing famicons had save state disks and #2 was kind enough to let you cheat continue on the level you died instead of just the world.
HENCE why I said 'japanese SMB2' Look it up on wikipedia if you don't believe me. Yeah, I know, It was "DokiDoki Panic!" with edited sprites released in America.
Mario 2 was meant to be different. This was back before game makers realized that sticking with what people are happy with is the smartest decision. They thought that if they released something too similar it would be to close to the same game to be a sequel. Not to mention it doesn't even make sense when you say "there was no sm 2 for america" no matter what the origin. I had a copy and I'm pretty sure I bought that at an American Walmart in english and it worked in my American NES... Sooo....
theres a trick where u jump on a shell so when it hits the wall and comes back u land on it and it happens again. if u can time it just right to be automatic, u can get so many 1ups that ur lives that are shown remaining turn into letters and symbols
hey...but the greatness of the games were worth all that...thats what being a true gamer is about...never stop trying to beat a game and if you do beat it faster and better..

"lost levels" is actually the japanese SMB2.
If you go and actually play the whole game without taking even one warp zone you get to go to world 9, 3 levels of the credits and the most crazy levels you ever saw.

By the way, "hence" means "that is why" so your sentence sucks.
