  • from 2:50 on its really fucking good, like fucking awesome, but the first part and u till 2:50 its just pretty damn good.

  • very good loved the jazz watched part one and thought u would try something different on part two,

  • I thought it was good. I've seen people play better but this was good.

  • nice jazz drummer, i personally know a few ones that are better, but still a cool groove

  • I highly doubt a KFC emplyee can afford a nice shirt like that and also a extremely nice drum kit.

  • he is definetly not the best drummer in the world, but he is good

  • i agree - quit your dayjob and get into a good jazz combo!!!

  • videos like this make me really sad. so much fucking talent in the world, and yet people are settling for computerized, homogenized beats while people like this guy are fucking working at KFC. it really pisses me off.

incredible playing man, really incredible. and fuck the buddy rich comparisons, you elitist assholes.

  • why the hell are you working at KFC?!?!?!

get into a jazz combo, be the next buddy rich

  • how is the name of this guy?

  • Son of Buddy Rich?

  • i thought he was going to play with chicken leg haha

  • his beard is so scary XD

  • exicellent

  • i like this guy, not some flashy expensive enormous kit, but he still bring sound out of it..skill, technique, speed...he's got it all

  • that guy is amazing i love the bit from 3:00 onwards. better than first part

  • I like that he plays with a feel and a groove. He isn't (like a lot of drumvideos i've seen on youtube) showing just how fast he can play.

    Keep it up! :)

  • good job!

  • im impressed

  • that is great old school classic drumming. i had a drum teacher that played like that.

  • Great, but not best

  • watching too much buddy rich videos aye! nice work

  • Not bad, props given. Its tough to come up with "original" pieces, as they all seem to have been done. Nice job though.

  • Different styles cannot be compared. Then, at more speed, less expression and changes are possible so what are you comparing when you say best? speed? shuffle and swing control? expression? For me this player is the best I've ever heard playing this solo. Dave Lombardo is better playing his heavy-metal solos but I'd like to compare both with the same style.

  • buddy rich beats all hands down

  • GREAT job it is a shame that you didnt go professional if u arent but 2112covenmittboxing , u have no damn taste neil peart is great ill give u that but keith moon was horrible look closley at his techinc it sucks he barely holds the sticks and over plays and john bonham was great for his not for the centuary

  • Yeah that was pretty good..but again..not the best..but that was better than the first part

  • stfu with the "but not the best" bs already and take it for what it is, which is amazing

  • well the vid does say "world's best"...

  • that was AMAZING! loved hat sweet little throw and catch of the drumstick before the final bit. great work keep it happenin :D

  • lol the mirror makes the set look bigger

  • i want a father like that too. guess i'm unlucky. we would duel each other. HAHAHAHA

  • I can only imagine how well he plays percussion. great work!

  • Seriously cool playing. !!!!!!

  • Awesome! =O

  • hes good but hate to break it to u not the best not even close i meen theres

    #1 niel peart

    #2 john bonham

    #3 carl palmer

    #4 keith moon

    #5 terry bazzio

  • Amazing! His play influenced me for some ideas :)

    Cheers

  • Well played! Great chops. You never know from looking at a guy what lurks below. Another life lesson. Thank you, sir!

  • exactly buddy rich 1970 solo but still nice only he plays as twice as fast as you do

  • I cant really make out whats over beyond your ride. Do you do some percussion stuff?

  • Hi. Thanks for your comment. The man in the video is my father. To answer your question, yes he is a percussionist and plays the congas, bongos, etc. Thanks again!

  • great work joe! great articulation! anyway who am i to judge ! check my vid the sound is crappy but the rythm is there! ill post more when ill have a real camera...

  • wow, you should get a video of you demonstrating those bad-ass rudiments

  • is that his house?

this guys a drum adict, lol his hella good! :)

  • :) :)

  • I want souch a father too xD

  • that snare sounds great

  • Buddy Rich style :D

  • i dont really like the sound of his toms..but still..that was awesome!

    nice

  • Buddy Rich's style nice.

  • really cool stuff.. i can relate to because i'm an "older" drummer. Some excellent chops along with some good technical ability and very nice to watch. I would put some gaffer tape on the toms tho just to elminate the "ring" but a minor thing. Tell you're dad he rocks!

  • 5 stars! nice drumming!

  • That's some talent!

I especially liked the last part starting at 3:00 to 3:09.

The whole video was great, and I can tell he has a very loving daughter!

    Keep up the good work!

  • Even if it's not your style... any one with a musical ear can tell how much talent this man has... i'll say it like everyone else. Be very proud of your father! that was incredible. Flawless timeing! kudos!

  • really nice playing keep it up m8

  • wtf!! hehe hes ttooooooooo faasssttt lol thats gr8 keep it up ;)

  • hes pretty good

  • now that's someone who practiced ;)

  • elmahe12, you must be proud of your father - he's truly an artist.

  • Thank you to all who have posted comments thus far! The man in the video is my father and I send him the link to his two videos periodically so that he can read the comments. He really appreciates each and every one of them. Have a great day =)

  • a lil random- but what kind of drum heads are those???

  • I think those are Remo pinstripe.. 2 ply with an oil layer.. they sound nice.. punchy yet a soft tone if you lay off them.. I have them on my pearls..

  • I think his tom's tune goes well with the rest of his set

  • Work it out baby!!!!!!!!!!!

  • his style is like buddy rich. nevertheless he is talented

  • Thank you. The man in the video is my father and he actually based his style off of Buddy Rich when learning how to play. He's got a lot of respect for him ;)

  • wow i all most shit my pants that was so good

  • You might be right about the high tom, but don't forget that recording often fails to convey the real resonance one might hear in the room.

Nice stick bounce at the end.

  • Nice job.

  • good playing but I'm not really sure why you'd tune your first rack tom as high as you have. you're choking the resonance out of potentially good sounding drums! otherwise really great technique and playing!
