Used my brand-new Timberline 4 last night on a camping trip. It was awesome! Didn't realize through the floor is so thin, where can I get a ground cloth for it?
@TexasMan77 Campmor has good prices on the Eureka floor saver tarps on thier website. I use the Large Rectangle size floor saver from Eureka for my Timberline 4. I think it is under $15.
Something to note...I have heard it mentioned that some of the generic plastic tarps may have a chemical that accelerates the breakdown of the tent floors. I'm not sure if that is true, but for $15, I would stick with the Eureka floorsaver.
Absolutely the-best-two-man-tent-money-can-buy!!! Nice choice of music to go with this vid, John Denver is great, what a tragedy his end was. Ok I,m rambling on here. back to the tent. If you go with a tent from REI or patagonia you're just wasting your money. I cant say enough with a limit of 500 characters to express my liking for this tent.
Thanks. I borrowed this tent and there were no instructions. How did we cope before the internet? In five seconds I was watching video-instructions. You saved the day.
I'll Be honest, the only "bad weather" I've had it in was slight rain, so I don't have much experience. The frame is very strong though, and staking it down makes it very secure. But I gotta say, Me & my brother usually camp out, and since it's a small enough tent, it retains the heat very well. Of course, there are 2 windows for ventilation and stuff like that. Hope that helped.
would have been excellent if you zoomed in on the small details like the connections of different parts like the poles, also the last bit with the venting door.

just got this tent used, with no instructs. your video was very helpful.
encourage you not to fold up tent into its "stuff sack". folding it makes creases which create leaks, Stuff It!

Thanks, that was a lot easier than reading the instructions.
