You can't replace basic understanding of design theory/principles and and a good eye for detail and inspiration. Being inspired is NOT by copying straight out of a tutorial!. Just go to deviantart and see for yourselves.

Every great designer has his/her methods. To stick to a 1. 2. 3. formula is to constraining. There's one critical part of this "design process" and thats inspiration. Leave that out and you've got very little to motivate good work.

Thanks for taking the time to make this video and the tutorials. Bencux, your the idiot. You can't tell someone more than this guy does about the graphic design process. If you are not talented to make good work, you should find another job. Artistic talent is 90% personal expression harnessed in an original and moving way. If you are looking for someone to show you how to do that in 5 steps or whatever then you should seriously consider switching jobs.
