Poor Stephen, I think he was genuinely offended at the start there, he's a star though, he seems to get a lot of stick for his height. He's very talented and funny, its a shame interviewers seem to all hone in on his height as opposed to taking the opportunity to talk to him.

@bluemoon121 Merchant directed The Office. They wouldn't have won the awards without the iconic documentary style which made The Office so much different to other comedies. He also wrote The Office so it's really stupid you saying he "owes his fame to ricky" because they wrote the scripts 50:50. I think it's Karl Pilkington who owes his fame to Merchant and Gervais.
