That was my favorite Don Whittman call. Don passed away yesterday and HNIC fans will miss his voice. I always felt that he never received his due for his work at Hockey Night. There were times when I actually liked his call better that Bob Cole's. That is really saying something considering that Cole is Known as "the voice" in hockey circles. God bless you Don, we'll miss you.

I once met Cliff Ronnig at a function in Toronto he is a grade A jerk.
He acted as though the fans that wanted his autograph were scum and overall was not acting his age towards the fans.

@dome1972 Don Wittman's voice was so Canadian and easily identifiable when you heard it.He covered everything from NHL,CFL,curling,you name it.
