saw that thing on craigslist been lookin for a lifted truck for offroading. wanted this thing bad haha such a sick truck.. wont be selling my car till november though.. nice truck though
@bradman1012 To run 33s u need 4 to 5 inches of lift without fender trimming. U need about 2 inches of lift to run 31s with no rubbing or fender trimming. If u wanna run 33s do a tt on the front, shackles on the rear, and a 3 inch body lift. This will give u around 5 inches of lift for around 500 bucks. Instead of spendin 2 grand on a 4 inch suspension lift go with what I just told u and spend the extra money on lockers and tires and u will have a much more capable rig for a lot less money.
@Hiramabiff60 Bradman1012's Truck is a 94 which has the TTB front coil sprung. for that he'd need coil spacers and an alignment, Add a leaf or shackle rear and a 3" Body lift. 31's fit stock on some 91-94's they fit on the 3 that I owned.
im lookin at buying one of these and have to deside between 2. one of a 2 door and other is a 4 door. does the longer 4 door make it better for wheelin?
lol at electric hubs. hahahahhaha did you gear it, or just lift and tires.? hopefully you did, or the first time you get into some serious shit, your gonna be wishing you spent the extra $. take it from experience, most stock explorers running gear will not turn those tires very efficiently. or at all when it gets really bad. and trade out the electric hubs for manual ones, best investment you'll ever make. my 94 would go almost everywhere your lifted one would, and its not stock. but looks it.
5.13's. hahhahahah ok. sure ya do. and i have 2.5 ton rockwells under mine. hahahahahahaha hilarious. trucks, yeah i love broncos, so sure. i think so too. owned enough to know about it. my bad, your right, they are warns. had to pause it to see.
bad ass. i have a 93 xlt. wear can i find a lift kit for it. i want to do an axle under leafs. its the front i dont know how to do. bud thats a bad ass explorer.!!
get f100 coils for the front, it has 2 in already in it. you will get 2-2.5in lift in rear just from spring over swap. no need for coil spacer unless your going bigger than 3-4 in, then call james duff, best place to get a lift kit, and there is almost no diff between the explorer and the bronco II. bII just a bit shorter. stay away from body lift unless you really feel comfortable with installing it.
Man...I was told I could add Mud-Terrain or even all terrain tires on my 94 Explorer! They said it was dangerous and can cause my car to flip! Damn.............

32's are the biggest you can go without rub. IF you want to go bigger you either need to bob your fenders and bumper or get a lift.
thomasmcmullen06 1 year ago
what kind of suspension do you have on that. is it a body lift or suspension lift, and how many inches

the usual rule of thumb is to have a shorter wheel base if youre doing rock crawling or going in tight spaces
