I don't get why people are under-rating the lyrics to Group Home. Yes, I agree that this album goes fucking hard with Primo beats behind it. But, I still give mad props to Melachi and Lil Dap for some hard hitting word play in their songs.

@dubblesc They got criticized for the rhymes. People thought they didn't deserve the majesty of DJ Premier's instrumental work on this album. It only got positive reviews because of him, not the MCs. Personally, I think they're kind of whack. It sounds good when you're listening to it, but their flow is sluggish and their rhymes lack any real depth and cleverness. If you read the lyrics online without hearing the song you'll see what I mean. Better MCs would and could have killed this track.
