Has this game the same idea as Guitar Hero or what is the idea?

It's a PSP game where you have to hit the falling notes to produce parts of the song... like at the end, each one of those notes in the mass of notes carries a specific piano tone; then at the beginning, where each note is part of the drum'n'bass beat. What makes it really difficult is that you have to play everything with only your thumbs... because there's no other way to play it on PSP otherwise. It's... pretty hard... and takes practice, lol. It's been out longer than guitar hero, btw.

Guitar Freaks, DrumMania and the BeatMania series.

SO yeah, all those games are originally ripped off from bemani :).
