  • what's the song in the beginning?

(sorry if i posted this twice)

  • It's actually a original song by the Director he recorded for this short film

  • thanks. its a good song

  • hey man this was pretty wicked

  • LOLWUT

  • LMAO

  • around 1.15 scared the hell out of me, was getting into the music seeing her walk along and then that cut just made it so better

  • Tit's !!!!!!

  • LOL He said "Thanks"

  • Very nice :D

I have one question...what parameters and codecs do you use if you work with Adobe Premiere, for the best HD quality and not too big files :D

    I have also HV-30 cam.

    Thx for the answer :D

  • On this film we use Final Cut Pro, which uses Apple Pro Res 422 codec. When I'm using Windows based pc, I import the footage using HDV Split which creates m2t files. Then in Premiere I use the 24p 1080 preset.

  • Thanks :D

  • That was awesome. Didn't expect that. I never thought that the Canon HV30 would shoot as good as this. It has a very good movie look. Great job.

  • Manboobs Galore !

  • lollllllllllllllllllll DuCK!! jajajajajaja

  • The bottle scene is all it had, other than that it was poorly edited.

  • how do you record in 720p instead of 1080i.?

  • We actually recorded the video in 1080 but when we exported the movie we set the parameters to 720p

  • to record in 1080i thats just the HDV mode right.

and when you exported it you set it as 1280x720?

    right.?

  • Not exactly, here are the setting we used on the camera.

HDV 24p, Cinemode, neutral color. Then like you said we exported the film @ 1280x720.

  • LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very dramatic and sooooooooo out of nowhere! I like it!

  • This film has potential. You shouldn't ruin it with such an ending. The bottle scene was actually pretty amazingly done...

  • Thanks for the comments!

  • I know this place !! Is this West Palm beach???

  • Close lol, it's actually North Florida, Jacksonville

  • mm I dont really know what too tell you..but I didnt like it you went away from the begining , and end with nonsense

  • lol, I appreciate your honesty : )

  • that acutally surprised me when the guy jumped out

  • A little too random.

  • LOL! guys watch this to the end.

  • that was soo RANDOM XD

    i loved it

  • HAHA WTF?! The end was so not expected lol.

The bottle was amazing and should receive some kind of award.

  • I have a keyboard.....and I want to get the music from there onto my computer and into my videos? How would I be able to do that? How do u do it? Good job.

  • We used Logic Audio. What you need is a soundcard that has line inputs, Like the Fast Track Pro by M-Audio, this will allow you to record audio for your soundtracking

  • MAn that is so funny .

    Thanks for posting it.

  • That was hilarious!!! I love it!!!

  • Do you have any advice on capturing in HD for Final Cut? I might be getting the same camera, so I have been wondering about that. By the way, very well edited!

  • very random but very good! 5/5 great job.

  • Thanks

  • Where did you get the dark sound tone at 1:15 ?

Anyway, I liked that scary scene. It was a real surprize! :)

  • The way we did this was we used a program called magic bullet which allows you to change the look of your film. So all I did was just make the picture have a dark blue look to it basically

  • I knew that.

I'm interested in the sound effects (or music).

    Where did you get them?

  • Opps I didn't read the question all the way through. We did all the music and soundeffects ourselves. The dark music was from a pad off of a Korg Karma Keyboard.

  • Thanks for the reply! :) You answered my question. If you made the sound effect yourself, than you made a very good job! ;)

  • The blast you hear is actually the sound of a gun and a door slamming.

  • I enjoyed this so much that I had to watch it three times...lol!

    DUCK!

  • haha good job

  • which preset of magic bullet did you use?

  • I didn't use a preset, I customize each magic bullet look for each scene. What I normally do when applying a look to my footage is, Add some satuaration about 110% or 120%. Then adjusted the exposure to about .10. Then add a 3 way color corrector. Thats a real water down version, but if you play around with it, I'm pretty sure you'll out do this in no time

  • Nice work. I've been playing with my Canon too, though mine is the Vixia Hf100. I've been tryign to get a decent cinematic look and I think you guys did a pretty good job.

  • 1:18 scared me :(

  • haha awesome :D!

  • I'm glad you liked it!

  • HA HA HA ...i like this!!!!

did u just use the elements to move the bottle or.. did u have a string attached????

  • I'm glad you liked the video, lol. Okay I'll give away our "secret" we used a air blower to push the bottle

  • That's what I thought, haha.

  • lol! I made the film and it scared me too!
