I was messing around with wiring routing while it was on, and forgot where one of the fans was hiding, and accidentally stuck my hand right into it at full voltage. Sliced about 1/4'' deep gash into my thumb, and cut about 1/4" off of my index finger, and ripped the nail partially off. After that, I ALWAYS cut that shit off before going near them. They are not like your low speed, typical case fan.

I don't think that's 10,000 rpm...The Delta PFB1212UHE spins at 5,500rpm with 252 cfm and is louder and seems more powerful than that fan. It's also a 120mm(12cm) x 38mm(3.8cm) fan. I own two Delta FFB1212VHE fans 3,200rpm 151.85cfm and it can blow that kinda stuff just as well.

@10cmsub ROFL yeah, if it's making noise cause the bearings are getting bad, try taking out the sticker, remove the rubber cap, and then put a drop or two of oil in it and spin it around, it might get a bit more life out of it. Don't do it to a fan that's running fine though, you might make it get bad sooner.

That's a Delta AFB fan, if my eyes don't deceive the pixellated-ness of it. The fastest AFB fans spin at 5200rpm, so you're a little bit off on the 10k rpm. That and the imbalanced bearings means it's spinning a lot less than 5200rpm.
