Wouldn't those "standees" have been more for stores looking to promote the game? Seems like it would be something that stores would be provided rather than something that one could buy. Kinda neat if what you say is true but I just find it odd that they would think the general public would want to buy something like that, before it became a collectible(obviously after the fact people would).
