Realize this: Bush is not talking to the American people, NO! But he is talking to China and other Asian financial systems in effect telling them that America is strong and to continue to invest in the American economy. This ploy did not work. 9/29/08

Bush is a liar. He lied about Iraq WMD, he lied about Iraq as imminent threat to U.S. national security, and he lied about linked between Saddam and Al-qaeda. Now he is going to lie about how the fail banks is going to be a "imminent thrreat" to our economy if we don't give his people some large sum of cash right now. A liar is always to going a liar. This speech is just some more lies.
