Nice!! I think the flaws add tons of character! I love when paint cracks like that, it's like winning the lottery, you got lucky!! I had a pro work on my gold tone dlx banjolele and I had it modified to use steel strings. Got a few other things done, sounds pretty good. It's nice when your sisters's fiance is a luthier ;)
Nice paintjob. Kinda looks like a bee (with a bit of a floral pattern on the drum). Ironically it says 'ant'. I might paint my uke the same one day. 2 things: #1 The smear on the ant is cool. It's motion blur. #2...try tuning it a full step higher(like a real banjolele). Or higher even. It'll brighten the sound. Those strings sound kinda lazy. You could even try nickel, bronze or silk strings..
Is it just me, or is this uke horribly out of tune?

Ya know, I have to agree. My banjo uke doesnt sound like Formby's but it doesnt sound like anyone elses either! One folk tune coming up!

Tres originale! I would recommend repainting your name. make your own cool stencil, and spray paint it. On the back put your picture decoupage!
