@pearpeas it will always seem as though it is scary to you because we are taught to view everything that has any African essence as negative. We are taught to see a Eurocentric type of worship as the "norm" . The bigger question should really about Christianity and its roots however that is a completely different topic. Just try to open your mind as to not allow anything African to be of fascination but to be respected just as how we were force to respect Europe.

It has to be in you? If its of God then, it should be,....Revivalist has always been a little scary to me....
I think its often mixed with inequity. A blend between good and evil (which can never be good). Can't serve 2 masters.
having said that, i am fascianted by it.
