They have the stab connections for underground gas line that work very well, but they have a tool that takes off the corners of the tubing so that it will slip into the fitting easier. I wonder if they have a tool that takes off the edge of the pex. It may make the connections easier to slip on. Anyway a very interesting demo on the Pex pipe system.

Biggest advantage is that if it freezes it won't break.. Big advantage when you live in the frozen North..
