  • souinds great. is it my imagnation or do you slow down on the b part?

  • any tab? i cant see your fingers

  • Fabulous playing but like the rest of the guys I wish the camera was faster...

  • wow fun :) I'm trying to learn this jig.

can play it That fast :) lol.. nicely done..

  • id clap fer anyone that can stand a fuckin nipple on ther thumb. lol

  • very nicely done mate, lovely

  • Not that fast, then again I am a metal guitarist :p

Seriously though, not bad. I am going to try to learn this song. I just got an acoustic, and I have no songs to play with it.

  • you'll find its harder to play fast on an acoustic guitar. Electric guitars have more forgiving strings, and they also hide your screw ups soundwise. So anything played fast on an acoustic is a more respectable feat than on an electric guitar. (in terms of pure technical prowess) But Electric guitars sound awesome, so they both have their place.

  • Yeah I know I was being sarcastic.

  • can you do this with a faster camera so we can see your fingers? LOL

  • jesus fuck god damn that's fast i can't even go that fast and i'm an irish singer.

  • quack nice jig

  • Perfect it slow then play it fast,.. Very good though.

  • I love this irish stuff, great playing man!

  • Superbe !!!

  • Very good man.

  • dude i belive its a chick!!! btw it says it funny bt there is nothing funny about this???

  • Brilliant

  • :) time time time time

  • It's Pierre Bensusan's arrangement of Merrily Kissed the Quaker from his first album 'Pres de Paris'. Its a lovely tune and he plays it significantly slower, with a light, elegant, smooth feel. Accuracy and lightness of touch in the rhythm is what makes these tunes rock so hard, not the speed their played at, especially if the speed is inconsistent and leads to mistakes.

  • sweet jig, is this a song or just fooling around?

  • Awesome. What kind of martin is that. Looks exatcly like mine.

  • good job man!

  • Molt ben tocada!

  • holy bejesus you're good. this is the first time i've heard this style of music played on a guitar. nice job.

  • Fine playing! Where did you get the tab or music?

  • Impressive. Do you have the tab?

  • dats merrily kiss the quaker and its not a gigue its a slide actually

  • WOW!.......

  • Merrily Kiss the Quaker, not Quacker.

  • That was pretty cool man. :D

  • is that open tuning?

  • Yes it is.

  • tabs?

  • its called a jig not gigue

  • both. Was french wrd first!!!

  • I just want to say congratulations, it's very difficult to follow your hands with this shitty framerate, but your fretting and picking are superb, I play guiar for a living and this is impressive. You should be proud, Irish/Scottish folk picking is some of the hardest guitar playing out there

  • thank you very much..I really appreciate it even if I should play way better than this

  • wow!

  • beautiful

  • skru teh speling. the song maters moor than that.

And you play it most lovely. :)

  • what tuning is your guitar in?

  • 1st off, great song. you did a awsome job in playing it! keep up the good work XD. ANY BODY KNOW WHERE TO GET TABS FOR THIS SONG!?

  • "The Guitar Book" by Pierre Bensusan.

  • THANKS ALOT!

  • Brilliant; great playing.

  • 1. spelling is wrong

    2. it is a Slide, not a jig

    3. he is very good.

  • Wow you go so fast I can't even see your fingers!

    Just kidding.

I wanted to play with a thumbpick too bad the this are too tough and thick to me.

Do you know other brands of picks? Thinner ones.

  • huh....don't mind the spelling. I'm from Holland and it's early in the morning.

  • I guess they are all the same

  • I have started adding you to my Favorites list a lot. Keep up the good work. I love the Irish songs.
