Yes, that's the Dean Valley Katie - on her final run before going into Tony Willmore's works to emerge in full black Penrhyn lined livery. There are a few more details to be added too e.g. a mechanical libricator on the left running board.
Sorry for major delay in replying - its somewhere in between. Mostly scratch built but the starting point was a GRS brass etch for a tender kit for their 'Elsa', which I cut about and added to. The idea was to build a tender which could be removed and the Katie turned back into original condition easily, hence the loco has a replacement for the rear buffer beam which has the flexible tender connection as part of it, and the tender has the original Katie rear buffer beam.
