I was given a teacup poodle my mom found on the side of the road out in the middle of the country side. He was solid black and was only 2.5 ibs when we found him. He turned out to be the best dog ever, maxed out at 4 ibs after being brought back. This made me miss the lil guy!

We had an 8-lb half-siamese cat that liked to chase the neighborhood dogs. They would actually detour around our property to keep out of this cat's clutches. Then, my parents brought in a rather expensive silky terrier--almost as small as a toy poodle. Smaller than the cat, especially when she was a puppy. We were afraid that the cat might eat her.

We shouldn't have been worried. That cat was smart. Ended up protecting the little dog. Other dogs would try to pick fights with it and ZIP!

Actually, he doesn't have curly fur, which is perfectly normal. Poodles dont get curly fur until they have fully matured. While thye are puppies, they have almost straight, slightly wavey fur. And btw that isnt a teacup, just a toy. Hes just a puppy =P There is no breed standard 'teacup' just runts of the litter. Also, I have a photo to show the difference between a 'toy' poodle puppy and a 'teacup' poodle. Born from the same litter, the teacup was about 5-6x smaller. Lemme know if u wanna c

I have a toy poodle. When she was a pup she used to do that with my old cat. Well the cat would get mad and sit on her till she stopped (cat weighed 18lbs poodle weighed 3). But she never hurt her. The cat raised her.....

@vadavies i get that too, i have 2 minis and heaven for bid you dont have a show coat on your poodle that looks all perfact and straight, if people actually know the breed they would know poodles coats are curly, they only end up straight after grooming them and taking a blower to them. you pup is a a pet not a show dog, he can be curly once and a while, if people actually know what a matted dog looks like they'd end up feeling stupid by frowning upon yours lol. he's very cute btw

I'm not gay and it wouldn't matter if I were. I have poodles as do many of my customers. When they aren't brushed they look like that. It's called breeding Runts... Familiarize yourself with the term please. It's not generally recommended to breed them. They aren't making them with the intent of causing them to be unhealthy and you KNOW that's not what I meant. You are just dramatic and you know it. They are typically unhealthy unless you ask a breeder and I'm SO sorry I care about dog health.

I have a Toy Poodle and a long hair white Tabby. In the begining the cat was gentle but now that the TP has gotten bigger than her, she sometimes lets him have it and full cat force. Type in criminaljustice1977 to find them if you want.

yeah, cats dont like to be played with too hard do they? :) Luckily Rocco (the cat) is totally used to dogs and their antics. when my moms dog get too rough with rocco, he just jumps high out of reach. he is truly a gentle kitty/ with a bit of an identity crisis. has many dog qualities and enjoys being around dogs more :)

oh yes he is a puppy. however, he is about 3/4 full grown. he will be about 2-3lbs, so a true teacup.
