  • balls

  • This is because the balls have the same refractive index as the water isn't it? What are they made of?

  • I have seen a video by Michio Kaku explainning this optical effect on the invcisible suit he is trying to create....! Incredible

  • is there any where I can buy these things?! I got some free samples today at the exhibition and I SOOO want more! please reply anyone? ^_^

  • I figured out how to make an invisibility shield the other day.

Take e-paper (coloured. looked around, doesn't seem to be on the market ATM).

Put a leniticular plastic sheet in front of it. (like those 3d cards in breakfast cereals) generate leniticular 3d images on the paper from 2 video cameras either pointing back or taken from a chosen VP. and display those on the e paper.

Effectively, from certain VPs, invisibility could be achieved in real time like this, even while in motion.

  • @me probably been thought of already as certain 3d displays work similarly.. would still be cool to make a structure invisible in this way, perhaps a building covered in pre printed leniticular designs making it seem to have an altered volume, perhaps changing as one walked around it... although it would still have reflection, specularity, glossiness and shadow, it might seem like a light glass surround. with interesting things floating inside.
