You don't have to run throughout the entire song. You are pushing too much through the song. This song has soft instrumentation and tells a strong message in a subtle way. Allow your vocals to shine through the song. Granted, you don't want to be buried underneath the instruments, but command our attention through a subtle, yet strong delivery.
