Hello friends, i´m going to start today, i already made the fit test, reorganize the foods and suplements, and now its time to go hard. The foods and suplements aren´t the same as p90x recomend but its almost the same with some differences. Good luck for you all
I'm a bit disappointed in P90X when it comes to a few of the videos. Anything with weights I tend to enjoy but I'm for body weight workouts like Insanity. P90X's plyo workout disappointed me probably because Insanity is basically all plyometrics but I do push on every workout but I just don't feel like I got a good work from the weighted ones like chest & back and I don't like how it's just the same every week. I made my own P90X Insanity hybrid workout calender. Feel WAY better about it now.

@bigbadbigfoot actually, whey shakes help with anabolics, or your muscle-building. "Recovery" shakes are typically lower in whey (protein) and higher in simple carbs for fast absorption into your muscles. Two great "recovery" drinks are Dark Matter by MHP and Aftershock by Myogenix.
@Amil5353 Um, you're shortchanging your results and dealing with unnecessary muscle soreness if you're not taking some type of recovery or post-workout drink

I like your quotes from P90X, about DNA removal. Also the Plyometrics where you are jumping and keeping up with Dominique. When I could finally keep up to him, I would yell out, "DOMINIQUE", I don't know why it just felt good to finally be able to jump like him. I did 90 days straight and had good results, but you outworked me by far, you had excellent results. Did you do doubles[Classic], or singles? Also did you follow nutrition guide to a tee? I ate healthy but did not follow guide 100%.

Joel, before you started Day 1, did you spend time getting yourself ready? Im out of shape and thinking before starting P90X I should do some exercising (a little PRE 90X) so I can make the most of it. Is this a good idea or did you jump right into it? Thanks
@td7474 yes I did ... I took about one week to "ease into my diet" before I started the workouts - during that time I did a lot of stretching and about 45 mins of cardio every other day. It prepared me as much as possible for "Day 1"
@prince2525160 I just did the Ab Ripper X video and was tight with my diet for 90 days. By the end, my abs were just starting to poke through. The 2nd time I did P90X - there are photos on my website - is when my abs got ripped :)
I don't use P90x, nor do I even need to lose weight. (I actually need to gain) But I just wanted to let you know that I watch your video whenever I want to be inspired or motivated. Hey guys, I'm a college student who also works during the day. So I an't work out in the mornings cause that would be a bad idea, would 10 at night be alright?

@koberh95 It can if you tweak right ... you want to run a "positive calorie balance" and lift as heavy a weight on each exercise that you can handle for 6-8 reps

Ok, months and months ago I saw a video that led me to P90X. I started in June, but struggled to stay with the program. I got back on it, and I have finally hit day 30. I kept wondering which video that was, and I just stumbled on this today. So I want to say thank you for getting me onto P90X. It is changing my life little by little, and I've inspired my sister to do the same, she is on day 49. Thanks again!

@XcellentFitness so far so good, I'm on day 11 today just getting ready for Yoga X and feeling great. I'm down to 169,6 from 175 and lost 2 inches off my waist. Gonna keep going by the book and see how go!! thanks for the reply! -Mike

@XcellentFitness hey, im in my 2nd phase now, btw it seems that im seeing great results with my body, i see the change really clearly howvever noone else seems to see a difference with me, is there something wrong or is it just me imagining the change?

I need a little help... I dont want to loose weight, im 5'10 155lb with 13% body fat I want to gain muscle and weight. Will P90X help me to gain pounds? Is the nutritional plan only geared for weight loss? Ive been hitting the gym for years now with little results. Any help would be appreciated

@koberh95 It can if you tweak right ... you want to run a "positive calorie balance" and lift as heavy a weight on each exercise that you can handle for 6-8 reps

Hey guys how's it going. I have started P90x on Monday January 9th 2012. This is my fourth time starting but hopefully this time I hope I can finish it. Ok, months and months ago I saw a video that led me to P90X. I started in June, but struggled to stay with the program. I got back on it, and I have finally hit day 30. I kept wondering which video that was, and I just stumbled on this today. So I want to say thank you for getting me onto P90X. It is changing my life little by little, and I've inspired my sister to do the same, she is on day 49. Thanks again!

I like this but I hate how he kind of backfires on himself on ONE thing. He says why spend 200 dollars on a gym membership!? But yet the package is like 130 dollars.
