I'm in Canada and I just got Prowl and Sunstreaker. Haven't opened my Prowl yet, but I can confirm the slightly fading paint. Actually, the paint is chipped a bit on edges too. The retailer I got him from also said that paint has been an issue for this figure.

I still wanted it cause I'll just paint over the trouble spots.

actually...it's a problem with my camera. i updated the driver for my webcam and now it's like i have a brand new one...everything is different and i don't know the settings very well yet

Great review. I can't wait until they release this figure in a few months. Prowl does resemble a Nissan 350Z, but I think it also has a striking resemblance to the Infinity G35 sports sedan.  The overall shape, headlights and tail-lights are the dead-ringers.

DUDE I just noticed that Prowls gun is if I'm not mistaken the same gun of alternators swindle. (and other alternators of the jeep wrangler mold like hound)

It's heavily based on the Nissan 350Z, just like the G1 was the Datsun predecessor. This one is awesome. When will he be out in STORES?
