In fact it was a "bad" month to do diving because the rains were still moving sediments to the rivers, if you go between January and March you will have twice that visibility.
It is approximately 15 minutes before reaching Portobelo village, you can find there scuba portobelo and 2ocean divers dive centers, if you want more info just let me know and I will PM it to you.
