He really needs to pull his finger out. He can do this, score against Barca and 4 goals against Liverpool, yet so far this season he's just lashed at everything and hoofed it over. Such a shame, can't see us getting a return on him.

08-09 09-10 he was amazing. 10-11, and 11-12 so far, very poor. Just runs into people at the moment.

Play well, and you get into the squad. It's as simple as.

He's not signed to be a player that just runs own the wing and crosses, he was signed for his attacking play, which includes scoring goals. That's how the formation is set up and has been for years.
He makes so many unforced errors, He's playing like he has "Torres disease" at the moment.
Loan is still the best thing for the him, and the team.

Of course, considering the player he was the first couple of seasons, it's not what we all would like and expect, but it's still something. However, this season has really been disappointing, but imo last season was very good.
