@BenjaminWirtz this is post-sex. given the amount of sex people have, having babies as a result of sex is exceedingly rare. you might as well show them a video of men taking a nap after sex, and women wanting to cuddle. maybe a video showing them smoking? its irrelevant. its after the fact: sex.
On Mon., 2-21-11, Dr. Bernard Nathanson passed away. I thank him for his film, "The Silent Scream." I thank God for changing his heart & mind & opening his eyes to the truth of the evil of abortion. I thank Dr. Nathanson for repenting of his sin & turning to Christ in humility. I know God forgave him, as He forgives all of us who repent & accept Christ. Rest in Peace, Dr. Nathanson.
I'm ProChoice. I just believe the choice is to use protection prior to sex rather than to murder the unborn life after conception. People know there is effective protection available yet they CHOOSE to take the life of the life inside the womb. Its a holocaust. No different than what the Nazi's did to the Jews......actually worse since 40Million+ unborn babies have been torn apart limb by limb.
Thanks for sharing this. I want to challenge my other street-preaching friends to watch videos like this as well as The Apologetics Group's upcoming video "The Abortion Matrix" to educate themselves on this issue and then take the fire of the Lord's heart as regards our modern "massacre of the innocents" as well as the fire of His anger at those who shed innocent blood to the streets and PROCLAIM IT BOLDLY FROM THE STREETS. Amen!
Bogus criticism of "Silent Scream" (#2 of 2): "Film is fake". Ian Donald, inventor of ultrasound tech, testified to the ultrasound's accuracy. E. Michael Linzey, assoc. prof. of ob/gyn at U of Cal said that the ultrasound is an "accurate representation of what goes on during an abortion". Furthermore, the doctor who performed the abortion in the film agreed to be filmed about 2 years after this film was released. That doctor also acknowledged that the ultrasound representation was accurate.
Bogus criticism of "Silent Scream" (#1 of 2): "Film of the abortion was slowed down & speeded up to create an impression of hyperactivity (@ 2:19)." The film is slowed down so the viewer can see where the suction tip is. Then it goes to normal speed. At no time are the abortion images accelerated beyond normal speed. This "bogus criticism" was designed to deflect the viewers' attention from what is happening in the film: An unborn baby is being violently killed.
To Synth3t1cs: The problem with relying on birth control is that studies show that the more people think that sex outside of marriage is fine - just use a condom - the more sex outside of marriage occurs, particularly among younger people. And people don't always use condoms, or use them properly and condoms fail, etc. The end result: little or no decrease in the rate of unwanted pregnancies. And let's not forget the soul damage caused by fornication.
@intercessors4america People are always going to have sex outside of marriage. There's no stopping that phenomenon. Its better to have some level of protection than none.
And I've seen studies where STDs and teen pregnancy went down with proper education regarding birth control.
It is not enough to save the life of an unborn child. We must also ensure the child has a healthy beginning.
The first years are so important in forming the bodies organs and mental well being.
Mothers must be given longer maternity leaves with job security. Daycare must be made available at affordable prices. Universal health care for child and mother.
When a mother must choose abortion as a less painful alternative to an impoverished upbringing, then we have social problems.
It is God's will that I should see this, knowing that I just had a argument about abortion this afternoon with my mother... she was basically not talking to me because I told her I thought it was murder...
The best way to stop abortion is to promote birth control. You can push abstinence all you want, and it will work for some, but not all. If you really want to stop abortion then you have to cover all your bases. Its unfortunate that the Pro-Life community doesn't understand this simple idea.

If public schools insist on teaching kids a bout "safe sex" this should be a required viewing for sex ed. class.

@payasoinfeliz
The fact remains that the only way to have a baby is by sex, therefore it directly relates to sex.
BenjaminWirtz 1 month ago
@BenjaminWirtz no, actually,... many people have babies without sex.

Bernard Nathanson died a few days ago.
People like him, Norma McCorvey and Abby Johnson are like Paul in the Bible, did evil and then came to a 180 conversion.
