  • surprisingly versatile for a cheap little amp, fine for home practicing

  • it sucks that like . . . with all these demo videos, it always has some tool playing totally lame guitar leads, that doesnt help me decide whether or not this thing sounds good, because i already hate what they are playing . . . no matter how good a tone might, or might not be, those guitar parts suck

  • Getting this soon

  • I'm thinking on buying a small little pal amp just to take to places, and to move around the house, the 100w 2x12 Marshall I have has my back trashed, even my balls hurt from carrying that monster around the house, maybe i'm getting this soon.

  • world music supply have a pact with the devil to show their amps !

  • u are idiot !

  • heyey are you from behringer?? damn your last name comes from deLANEY AMPS jajajaja lol

  • should i get this or the line six spider iv 15??? please send back a comment! thanks

  • @A7XfoREVerA7Xcjl a spider iii the spider iv is kinda weak...well im a metal player and without good pickups the behringer amp sounds emm ok but with nice pickups the gm108 can be a beast :)

  • o got mine with a behringer guitar several years ago. i thought this amp suckd, but yesterday i tried it and hooked it up with my Ibanez BP10 Compressor and my Fender Stratocaster, it has a really good classic rock tone!

  • I have this amp. I love... calling it a piece of crap. Got this after my L6 Spider 3 was stolen. Huge waste of money, even for a practice amp.

  • My First Amp. Had it for years. Its good for beginners but there aren't many options to choose from with this amp. But good for the price.

  • Didn't know Kermit the Frog plays guitar....

  • how much does this amp cost?

  • @phill488

around 85.00 its a good amp but if you save up 120.00

head out to guitarcenter and buy the Line 6 Spider IV 15 15W 1x8 Guitar Combo Amp .. <3 !!!

comes with everything you need xDD

  • @swaqqasuhkilla cool thanx

  • awesome amp really considering the price, it lasted me years, and its amazing compared to some crap u can get

  • I agree, this is great amp. For the sound and price!! ....BUT...If you know some guitar gears and you know that in the world exist some other companies than Marshall Randall Mesa and BEHRINGER ...then... you know also, that every Behringer guitar combo and head has STOLEN technology from TECH 21 (SANSAMP GT2)...even knobs and potentiometers are the same as in GT2. sorry for my bad english

  • I got this with a beginners behringer guitar

  • @TheNews1990 me too, got it about 3years ago. But one day the amp just wouldn't work, the little light by the power button is on but no sound :-( think that a fuse or something is busted, so guess i should try to find out whats wrong :-P

  • I just got the this amplifier :D very nice

  • This was the first amp I got. Probably the worst amp I've ever heard. Not buying from Behringer again.

  • I would use that amp more for portability, its only 11 pounds, compared to other 15watts amps that are around 17 pounds. But for a metal sound I would go with the peavey vypyr 15, totaly own.

  • its a good amp, but you need a good guitar

  • i have one of these and i gotta say that these arent load enough to compete with drums but are good for a little bedroom practice amp

  • i've got this amp,i gotta say i never tried any other amp but a Shred Classic Amp "MARVEL",i hated the shred one, this little amp here is simple, small, perfect for practice and the most important, really cheap for such an amp,and to all guys wodnerign ow he gets this sound, juts buy a good distortion pedal ,i love Behringer

  • @Brolyofstartimes the sound in the intro is purely from the amp. settings:

    drive 10

    amp uk

    gain hot

    speaker: us

  • Not too bad for a little practice amp. A better value than those Marshall MG and Randall Kirk Hammett piles of crap.

  • I really like the amp........really hate the guy in their video's though.

  • i have one. it rocks!

  • DUDE! cool little amp. but every time you flip your hair around your pretty little head it makes me want to tell you to squeal like a pig.

  • @idcrises What do you got against long hair? He's a rock guitarist. You can't be a rock guitarist without long hair and you can't see with long hair without fliping it.

  • It's funny how they are demoing this amp by running it through a mixer and a 4x12 cab....because your not gonna get that kind of bottom from this little amp!!

  • why the hell does everyone hate behringer? It's a freaking great company, real quality products, all are built like a freaking tank. I have this amp and with a lttle tweaking it can get GREAT tones.

  • I want a reverb model!!

  • how much is that guitar? It sounds cool.

  • @videotitan1 I just bought it for my husband, and I paid $60. Just took it out the box, and it sounds wonderful!

  • @200156kimmy: 60 dlls? I saw it at musiciansfriend and zzsounds and the actual cost is: 499.99 and its on clearence. Where did you bought it for that cheap price?

  • @videotitan1 how the hell could you judge a guitar by its price? just because it's made by a famous company or expensive like fuck, it doesn't automatically say that it's a great guitar with no factory defects.

  • @UnpredictablyRandom coffcoff(gibson)coffcoff

  • @teogt23 Gibsons are overpriced.

  • @UnpredictablyRandom with factory defects...

  • @videotitan1

Don't be screwed by the brand name of the guitar.. the picking/fingering techniques that makes it sounds good...

Even Jimmy Page/Van Halen still sounds great in a US$80 Guitar..

  • Its a Tech21 trademark 10...they stole the design.

  • this demo sounds like the real amp. i have one of these but dont like the vintage voiced speaker so i replaced it with a brighter sounding one.

  • I guess this is the right one to replace my current worst amp.. :)

I've ever heard it in a music store.. and it ROCK!!! for a 15-watt a.k.a Practice Amp...

  • its a smooth amp for the price

  • Remember kids, no matter how nice you are, if you've got the devil mustache and beard, you're going to look like a tool.

  • Like that guy on the infomercials trying to sell you some sort of colon detoxing product.

  • only he doesn't have a beard

  • @westpsmity along with bullet belts and wrist gauntlets/bracelets with studs. Lol, it screams 1982

  • what do you have ur dials set to like gain and otherss

  • i have several amps and all diff sizes.this thing i use normally with headphones on with my bc rich warlock and it kicks ass for metal.

  • Just Bought This Amp, Lemme Tell You Right Now, It Does Not Sound The Way It Sounds On The Video. I Did Fuck Around With It And Put A Distortion Pedal On It With The Drive On 10 And It Now Sounds Sexy, I Mean I Love The Sound It Has Now. Before Making A Decision To Buy This Amp Make Sure To Buy A Distortion Pedal To Get The Same Sound From The Video Maybe A Better One

  • post a vidoe plaese

  • your saying the truth I got to buy the v-tone behringer guitar pack and the amp is to noisy

  • Some people here want to bust this amp, but they never heard little Randall KH15 Kirk Hammet signature amp which sounds like total crap and it's twice more expensive. This amp can manage some good sounds. So shut the fuck up stuck Behringer haters!

  • @WorldMusicSupply hey men is the amp the 0:00 to 0:15 o is a pedal?

  • The thing is it's cheap, so you get what you pay for. Its perfect size and has enough tone for me to practice on, so suck it up and buy your expensive amps if you don't like it.

  • Looks like Bucky Covington from AI lmao. Parkers ftw btw!

  • my friends im gonna have to cut it to you this amp is mediocre don't get it... this is a lie the amp is just being sugar coated... i tested this amp out at guitar center and it fails i tested out tons of amps using solid states and so far the only good ones are the ones that are $150+ here is my tip on which ones i think sound best mg models that are 15w or higher.. roland 20x or higher.. peavy vyper... i tried the vox valve amps < if you want to spend 120 and then 300 for pedal & fx do it lol

  • its like a regular amp , but with a gdi21 (sansamp gt2) in it .

  • this amp doesnt sound that good

i cant shred with this piece of crap

and dont say its just my skill ive tried other practice amps like the peavey vypyr and the roland cube 20x and with those i can shred without a sweat

the only reason i have this amp is because my mom bought this package for me (with a guitar) and i dont have a budget to buy a new amp

  • uhuh... sure... After this watch?v=TUnh2RwFEW0 i really think that you can't shred with the GM108... I'll give you a hint: It's because you just don't shred.

  • LMAO it sounds NOTHING like that in reality. This is well mic'd and the guy has a great guitar. The amp is really buzzy and boomy.

  • You really don't know what you are talking about.

  • Really? I've had it for 3 and a half years and I have it opened up right now, so I guess I know what I'm talking about. It's a decent amp but it just doesn't have the capability of emulating any good tones.

  • Give me another amp for the price of this one that is better.

  • Well, that's partly right, but for a fraction of the cost of it you can have great sounding VST modelling. I got this amp with my very first guitar (behringer v-tone, i think), when I was still a kid and learning how to play guitar, and even then I realized that my freeware vst plugins sounded better. I don't think buying a cheap amp that doesn't sound good is a good idea in a time where you can get a free program that sounds like a Mesa (well maybe not the free ones :P).

  • Uhh Peavey Vypyr kicks this amps ass for only like 100 bucks..

  • So if I wanted a british amp like Marshall type sound, cos I play boogie music, what would I need to set it on?

  • Probably British, Hi Gain, and UK speaker, then adjust the gain knob how you want it.

  • british and uk speaker trust me it sounds awesome

  • Comment removed

  • This is actually a pretty nice begginer amp. It's loud enough for band practice. I never used the built in distortion, only used the modelling to colour my clean sound a bit. In terms of distortion, you have to get a pedal. All in all, at this price is way better than all the expensive practice amps.

  • For 100 bucks you can get a Lin6 SpiderIII 15 (same) Watt with 6 effects, 2 simultaneously, a custom built Celestion speaker, 4 amp models and modes to choose from (clean, distorted, metal, insane).

    BUT

This was my first amp ever. Still have it, and still love it! Be a beast and crank this mofo up to 10 and ROCK!

  • i have one and it doesn't sound like this at all ,its crappy

  • please, if you go looking for a starter amp. don't get this. horrible sound, muddy distortion, horrible modeling. just go get a roland microcube, it has great sound, different amp modeling built in effects, and many levels of distortion and clean settings.+ it's only $80-$120

  • this amp doesn't really sound like this guys. this guy cannot eq and hes got the gain all the way up so it sounds like crap. this is a great amp and its VERY loud. my family gets mad if i have it above 2.

  • Wow...you think thats loud? HA!

  • well i usually turnit to 4 when my family isn't home

  • same here man if I put it in 3 my mom starts yelling to turn that shit off but in 2 I cannot hear it well xD I like to call those amps Bipolar amp xD

  • ya same with me

  • yeah!!! i have the same problem,. 1,9 too low

2,2 to high . uhh si sos el mismo de antes xD

  • wow i found my kind of people same here xD

  • @Bobbe92 same problem here... xD

  • When I got this model it was my first and still is - I knew it rocked but boys will be boys and I went out and got a distortion box like most real guitarist do. Yeah -you might want a bigger amp looking style but for a budget this will do- then throw in a distortion. Peace...

  • I got this same Amp from a friend of mines garage. It's a pretty good amp and so far its lasted about 4 years. In my opinion this is a great starter Amp and I couldn't be happier with it.

  • yo please i really need some help:

is this amp good for the metal music?

    is it good for beginners?

    HOPE YOU ANSWER!

    StefanTheSerb

  • it sound s awesome if you use the correct settings and with all the analog controllers all the way up xD well thats what I do for playing heavy ass music like Metallica and Slayer xD and it sounds awesome its a good amp for having it in your house just for practice and to jamm a little xD not to fancy for playing Gigs but very good for practice and messing around

  • i have this amp too and id love to play some metal on it but i cant figure out a good setting rig to make it sound hard core, what settings is your amp on when you play?

  • I have the good old Metallica Setting xD

    gain-7

    lows-7

    mids-2

    highs-7

with all the controlers up, thats how I have it since I like the deep thrash metal sound

  • so you mean california, hot and us settings with those?

  • my metallica setting is US HOT BRITISH gain on 10 lows 7 mids 2 highs 10

  • This is a Really good Jazz Amp

  • I thought it was a desent amp to learn with. Lasted me a good 3 years. past year in a half a paper weight practically. Im getting a marshal amp or spend some good money at the mesa store. Tip : if you are thinkin bout buying a amp with a little more wattage keep saving your money and get something better then behringer

  • I agree, GO the BUGERA 333XL 120W! NOT bad!

  • These amps sucks!

I play it through a Gibson Les Paul Standard, and i can't get a sound like his.

Wonder how he does it oO.

  • Maybe he knows WHAT he's doing?

Even IF he IS a tool?

    LOL!

  • You can dial in bad sounds with any amp.

  • I have the same amp and I'm like 'How do you do that??'

But it's a great beginner amp xD

  • i got this amp and it sounds pretty sweet

  • This looks ok. I like the distortion.

  • i picked up a behringer bg412f (flat cab not the slanted one) and i totally fell in love with its sound.

if you dont have an insane amount of money and want a kick ass crunchy amp - my god this is a winner for sure. i didnt have the money for a marshall so i went with this model and ive gotten about 4 of my other guitar buddies to buy the same deal and they all love this amp.

good shit indeed i recommend it for anyone with a budget! 2 thumbs up.

  • thank you sooo much i was looking for this comment!!!!!!

one question:does it sound good for metal music?

  • dude its the best for metal! sounds great on any model (that it simulates).

many many many choices to pick from, trust me the best amp out there if your on a budget!

  • if you are looking for a small, compact metal amp, check out the marshall kerry king 10w or the vox metal earphone amp.

If u wanna go metallica, look up Randalls

  • Yes it can go loud, louder than you would ever want in a small room. To be honest you get what you pay for but this is the best value starter amp ever. The only few it might not match up to are Marshall mg15dfx and the line 6 spider III 15. great practice one tho i love it. It should be heard with normal drums, it was in my band.

  • I hate the spider III. it sounds so fizzy on the metal and and insane settings.

  • ive got this amp its a great little practice amp the range of tones is great u can get a Brian setzer sound to a angus young sound from the flick of a switch but u mite wanna get somethin a bit bigger when ur gigging.:]

  • Hey i need help wif dis amp... Does this amp give ur gitur good distortion, a heavy metal sound and stuffz like dat? im planning on getting dis amp...

  • EXACTLY SAME HERE!!!

  • "Small size of amp , but biggest sonud" every one say that :D:D:D:D

  • how loud can that thing go?

could you use it over a drummer?

  • only if you turn it up full blast it can barely match up to drums (but it really depends on the drummer's dynamics), then after a while the volume will cut in half. your best bet is to hook it up to a PA or a cab to save the GM's own speaker from a beating

  • the sound does not cut in half. It seems like it because your eeras have got used to it lol

  • On distortion mode it can overdo my drummer sdrums unless he uses drum mics, and he plays hard enough to dent his cymbals. Ye it loud for 15w

  • i got one once.... but that one i had doesnt sound so good like this in the video... why???

  • It also depends on the kind of guitar you have. Different guitars ave different sounds. For example if you have a Bc rich warlock guitar you will get a metalish sound, but if you have something like a fender strat you might get a clean sound. So it really depends on your guitar also.

  • I had a Strat back then when i got this amp, but the sound was kinda Shit :/ and a one of my friends has a warlock and the same amp but its too weak. Without a booster pedal this amp wont never sound like in this vid.

  • mine does :) I have a Epiphone Dot

  • probably cos you had a bad guitar. The systematics and quality of the instrument affect the sound wired into your amp. This guy has got an expensive guitar.

  • Look up my newer comment, i Forgot to reply it to you, as i did a few others. Its probably because of your guitar.

  • I got Gmx 212, there is one problem the clean is not so loud as distorted. but i use pedals and thats is nt a problem anymore

  • Why can't any reviewer ever show what an amp sounds like with the guitar volume low and high? Scared to show that there's no dynamic to the sound, only the max setting?

  • i believe behringer is german technology...

    i think...

  • Yes, but this amp is made in China.

  • I WANT ONE OF THOSEE!!! lol

  • Where are these amps made?

  • China

  • thats my amp haha.

  • VVV fucking morons VVV Vdown thereV
