Because a good bugout bag needs to work.. If you want to carry a bag around that mostly only works in emergencies that are big ones fine. I'd rather carry one around that will be useful for emergencies large and small. I HATE sitting on a seat other
Some hand sanitizer, alcohol or any kind of disinfectant ought to be able to to the same job while maintaining the number one survival principal, all items should have more than 1 use, prefferably 3-4.

If you have a frame pack the frame usually fits a machete, axe or both behind the frame with the handle perfectly protruding behind your neck for a quick draw.
If not I'd suggest a fishing rod cover and simply mounting it on the side of the pack within reach.
FYI - All survival type of threats are cancelled. Guess you don't need the BOB and all that stuff - Yea! lol. Hey you did put some thought into this gear. I've got some gear but have not gone through what you've done in getting a BOB readhy at this point. Thanks for the vid - wtr7
