I've only ever heard this in the "Launcher" for Medieval Total war 2. Shame that because this piece has great potential for the rest of the game, especially in a battle or something. Where your either losing, or winning but taking alot of casualties in doing so.

You can hear it when you start a campaign (in the loading screen after faction selection and before the map), however, this loading sequence doesn't take all that long (it's probably over in a few seconds in your case).

I geuss having a slow computer is an advantage sometimes ;).

1)is this the m2tw kingdoms credit song?if not,where does it play?

2)in m2tw kingodoms does it play the same french court music when you attack or something else? i dont have the game so i dont know this.

I cant tell you about the french but this song played for me only once and that was when the screen for clicking play popped up

I'm a bit late but this song is during the main menu and during the campaign map on the off chance and the french court music starts right before a battle

Yes, in Kingdoms, the credit music is a rendition of this piece with lyrics.

The credits of regular M:TW is a similar styled rendition of one of the combat pieces also with lyrics.

Nice, but could you put up the menu screen music for the Britannia Campaign? That has to be my favorite song out of all the MIITW and Kingdoms songs.
