Leaders were not foolish because of the introduction of trench warfare meaning a change in tactics, the combination of old tactics with new technology was the cause of many deaths. Remember this :some of the video's were used in the war as propaganda for the troops.

In some of the parts you can see it was played by actors.For sure it was Hell ,but to moralise the troops, the Germans as like the Allied used movies to motivate their men.

You can see it very well the way the camera moved over the trenches and in the way the soldiers fall like domino's.

just to say that no one in either wwi or WWII directly fought the enemy both british german etc fought each other the government was the enemy and so both sides of the war deserve as much respect as each other remembrance day is for every one not just those from your country

Dont get me wrong. The idea is awesome but the images are so random and there is no real build-up. And like I said, the pace being the same and not actually syncing with the audio makes it so much worse. You could show the images faster at faster parts of the track. And in the solo in the middle you can put in very graphic images and scenarios of middle in the war footage. That would truly be epic.

Could have done with some moving footage dude, and the dynamics just aren't there. The images don't change on beat, there aren't even any basic fades or slides and you have images like the graves right at the beginning, so there's no sense of chronology or narrative. Nice idea though.
