@TheGreencreeper Well to put it in perspective, each one of those engines cost around $6,000 dollars. there are EIGHT of them on this aircraft. So to start, roughly $50,000 dollars alone to power. The airframe what custom built. There's no way a company would built and sell kits of this size. This model here was crashed at an event shortly after this test flight.

Sadly, this beautiful B-52 is no more. This RC- B-52 crashed and burned at an air show. 2009 I think. Too tight of a turn, loss of lift, straight in at high speed. Total loss.

Beautiful plane. How many engines does it have? Very detailed, the landing lights are are a nice touch. You find the trouble with the right wing support gear? Just a brilliant plane. And it's huge! Yes the inquest after the flight was that the pilot lost orientation, thought he was banking right but was actually banking left once he passed passed the 30 degree mark she slipped out of the sky as the real plane also does.

@paul0367 I'm not entirely sure it was pilot error. I believe it may have been mechanical. If you watch the crash video, you should notice that it begins to bank to the right, more and more. Even after the dive has reached a point where it becomes unrecoverable, it still continues to turn in that direction. I believe a servo locked up on him, and caused the crash.
