  • Do you have to use big ones

  • @legocity7 nope you can do this with water regular bottles or even soda bottles. I did this with huge water bottles bcuz I keep people watching this show so I have to go with the most impressive thing I can come up with :D

  • i like how you advice us to get a freind to left the tanks up while you were trying to do it on your own XD. i actually did do this experiment when you posted this it was fun.

  • @mynameisradar Haha yeh I guess I was trying to be a macho man :D

  • press 6 for tomato

  • @allLightsonme sounds likethe english version of tomatoe

  • i want a tornado OOO:

  • @ma5rs This one is pretty nifty but I doubt you would like to have the real thing, after all a real tornado is dangerous :D

  • @Socoolscienceshow yeah lol (:

  • who the hell gets a vortex when they flush their toilet? i don't :(

  • @SHExxLIKESxxBARINAS maybe you got one of them non votex toiletes or low flow toilets : /

  • Why do you sound like Travis Pastrana?

  • @RMZ250Legend I have no clue who that is.

  • /watch?v=jUfEsJJBUyM

  • @RMZ250Legend oh I c ok

  • @RMZ250Legend Omg he does hahah

  • i see this everyday in my toilet :)))

  • @lex13blackheart Mini toilet-tornado

  • i see this everyday in my toilet :P :)))

  • Is that how u really talk no offense im just curious....

  • @SyloPruductions000 How I talk in the video is to make the video more entertaining, my real life speech is more like what you hear during the explanations.

  • it's like a really cheesy ad :')

  • @mrhopsack Is it a nacho cheesy ad :D

  • How many ways can a tornado form? 3? 4? 5?

  • @63viera Well tornadoes are not fully understood and there are many different explanations on how the spinning begins. So these different explanations can make it seem like tornadoes form 3-5 different ways. Its possible that tornaodes form in different ways based on different weather conditions but Im pretty sure that this is the best explanations on how tornadoes form.

  • @TheCAPTAINNEMOful Glad to hear you liked this sci file, hope to be replying to more comments from you on other sci files :D

  • wow impressive

  • @isaac109711 Thanks :D

  • Did u put a fish in it :)

  • @vlogboy209 Haha no I didnt put a fish in it :)

  • Your vids are cool and the way you talk make me laugh so much and don't you mean whirlpool in stead if tornado cause it's water not wind

  • @MarBenShua Thank you I do what I can to make each sci file not only educational but also funny :D Acctualy I should of said vortex causes thats what tornados, whirlpools and hurricanes are :D

  • i love your video science is cool

  • @rapkid123rocks Thansk vyer much Im glad you enjoy the so cool sci files and science :D

  • Comment removed

  • nice guy

  • @pream1992 thanks :D

  • super an quality

  • @pream1992 glad you liked it :D

  • You remind me of bill nye or w.e :/

  • @Socoolscienceshow bill nye the science guy ? idk maybe its just a canadian thing.... I had to watch his vieos in science class when I was younger and thats who you reminded me of...

  • @SavannahRachelle94 i know who bill nye is haha :D

  • @Socoolscienceshow Then why did you say who ? :P

  • @SavannahRachelle94 cuz its only been said about a billion times :D

  • i remember the guy on blues clues doing this once when i was little, and as soon as the show went off i made my mom and dad do it for me so i could see a tornado. good times

  • @19lionkingfan Yeah but he did a tiny lil itty bitty one, where as I wanted to do a massively large major tornado instead of a tiny one :D

  • @19lionkingfan I remember watching that episode :D

  • @Socoolscienceshow lol me 2! well of course i do. i mentioned it, haha :)

  • @19lionkingfan Haha

  • and at two minutes and twelve secends is wird

  • @legocity7 Well im glad you enjoy the sci files :D well its suppoed to be for comedic effect, to make you laugh :D

  • your the best guy on youtube

  • you look a lil bit like Christian Bale @ The Fighter :D

  • @oO0ICY0Oo never got that one before :D

  • u are annoying

  • @Kahula25 your comment is annoying

  • @Socoolscienceshow u r funny ima subscribe yer funninest infinity/5

  • @MysteryWorrior Well thanks very much for the support it means alot to me but more importantly it means alot to the awsome youtubers who enjoy and want to continue participating in the sci files :D Thanks again :)

  • @Socoolscienceshow hey i got a little questioin... why do you like to edit things so much...

  • @MysteryWorrior There are many reasons I edit each sci file, 1) it makes the sci file more exciting and fun to watch 2) gives people an opertunity to watch something that happens eaither faster or slower then it would in real time 3) cuts down on time of filming each sci file so when I mess up I dont always have to go back and refilm the entire line all I have to do is a cut away and then continue doing lines. 4) to make the show funnier with cut away jokes 4) to make the show seem professional.

  • @Socoolscienceshow i apologize for my incovinence

  • yea yea but I didn't realise you'd practically be shouting through it haha :)

  • @AtomicKilljoy nobodies forcing you to watch the entire video and if they are shoot them cause they are giving my videos a bad name. (shooting is agisnt the law so dont acctually shoot anyone)

  • cool tornado but dude you just annoy me "/

  • @AtomicKilljoy YOU CLICKED THE VIDEO!!!!!!!!

  • @AtomicKilljoy so you realy do like to kill joy because hes just adding personality to this video

  • Hey Socoolscienceshow what effect in movie maker do you use in 0:33

  • @JHAYTOT1 "Moving Titles, Layered"

  • @Socoolscienceshow Cool Where I Can Find That Effect

  • @JHAYTOT1 I don't know I wish I could tell ya : /

  • @Socoolscienceshow at windows movie maker

  • can you make one about whirlpools?

  • @Pegasusthebeyblade I could but I would just be repeating the same experiment you see here. How bout I tell you how a whirlpool forms instead. When two moving bodies of water meet each other in the middle of a narrow passage way like between a coastline and a nearby island, the currents meet but are moving at different speeds. the two forces counter act each other, this causes the water to begin to spin forming a whilpool. Some whirlpools can be formed by wind current as well :D

  • @Socoolscienceshow Thx i knew you would use th same experiment! you can make one y fillling one bottle with water with some air on top then add dish soap close cap then shake then just spin it like a tornado then it creats the wirlpool! :D

  • I love this guy and his videos there like funny and interesting and warm and comforting just like how the old shows used to be thank you and keep this up :: )

  • @MCcam2 Thank you and your most definetly welcome :) I to long for the days when entertainment was about entertainment and not about whose farts were the loudest XD thats all reality TV is a bunch of people argueing over who farted the loudest LMAO

  • this is the next fred.

  • @Ju1ceem4n WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOA Dont ever compare me to the untalented annoying nickelodean sell out. I am way more talented then FRED will ever be no matter what his unconcious fowlling thinks.

  • @palangera No thats not ego, thats the 100% honest truth. fred is not talented in any way shape or form. Talking to your camera and speeding it up in windows movie maker then jump cutting every other second isnt talent nor is it even original. People have been speeding thier voice up way before even I was borne. Compared to my comedic skills/timing, my brilliant acting, my own personal vocal talents plus coming up with a new way to create old experiments, now thats 100% true talent right there.

  • have you ever thought to yourself- I wanna see one, but I dont wanna die?

  • @artisttutorials As a science entusiest I would say I would definetly want to go inside a tornadoe, bcuz it would help to under stand tornadoes and thier formation. In general I would still say YES bcuz it would be the wicked kewlest amusement park ride ever :D

  • @Socoolscienceshow I want to tell you how a tornado works. there is a wall cloud (or low cloud) after a storm. If the conditions are right, (as described by you) the wall cloud forms a tornado. The tornado will touch down befor the visible funnel cloud is seen on the ground. Inside the funnel cloud, there are what you might call- MINI tornadoes. these are part of what causes the vacuum. Tornadoes are classified in size and power by a scale. from f1-f5 is the scale.

  • @artisttutorials I know, I explained how tornadoes form in the video towards the ending :D

  • @Socoolscienceshow of course, thats why you make science........SO COOL

  • HDCAP

  • dude you are the next Professor Science!!!

  • to hyper. lol

  • @RoShAnOWNEDyou not hyper enough lol

  • love it can u use any tape

  • @MrNate322 I would stick with packaging tape because other tapes may rip to easily when you flip the container over.

  • Nice vids hope u keep making some more =)

  • @jakiro127 Im really glad to hear you liked this sci file. I make a new sci file each week answering a new question. =^D

  • Or Or you could just Flush the toilet

  • @swayblu Or Or you could not waiste water and use this device to reuse the water over & over again

  • @Socoolscienceshow its waste

  • @swayblu Yeah as much as I dont want to side with the hippies here, flushing your toilet just for the fun of it, waists water :(

  • haha showed this to my little brother =)

  • @duchtproductions hope your lil bro enjoied, tell him crazy chris said hi =^D

  • FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with love from levy

  • @SbRaiders77 First what?

  • You should honestly have your own tv show lol!

  • @flushfilms Maybe one day in the distant future I will have my own TV show. Then you can say to all your friends & family I knew him when he was on Youtube. =^D

  • Hey Chris, I really liked the intro to this one. :D

  • @Bostonian7799 Alright Im glad you liked it because it was really fun to filming this intro. I took my inspiration from the Wizard of Oz which is why the begining looks sepiatoned. Looks like a real tornado or storm doesnt it? Its not. Its a giant fan blowing air with a wind sound effect placed over the audio track so you cant hear the fan blowing behind the camera. Oh yeah & some good actting too Haha

  • illinois has tornadoes but not crazy

  • @sweatysniper We dont have very many tornadoes here in LA specially in the Valley areas where the air is usually just to dry and tempretures get up to 90-100. Which I gotta film in :O

  • awesome!

  • @jaymcd84 Im gald you really enjoied this science file. Now go get yoursef some of those huge water bottles & go give it a try for yourself. =^D

  • tornadoes don't happen much out here in Utah, or in the west, probaly because its a desert out here where we really don't have moist air

  • @zeldafan1515 Yeah thats pretty much it. Usually the desert doesnt get the wet air needed to form super cell thunderstorms. Tornadoes can occur anywhere on every continent (possibly antarctica too) Although in a dessert you can still get dust devils which happen all the time in Death Valley. Although dust devils are not really tornadoes.

  • @Socoolscienceshow yup, hey could you ever do one on eclipses, or something like star phases or both

  • @zeldafan1515 I already have a science file about stars which you can check out under space science. Im sure I could come up with something about eclipes, that sounds like a really good idea. I'll add it to the list of sci file requests. I answer all questions in the order they were recieved. Since there are many people ahead of you it may be awhile before I get to your request. So hang in there your request will become a science file.

  • Another cool one Chris!

    Keep doing it!

  • @Merdam9 I really like this version of the bottle tornado then the pop bottle version. I was sitting around & said you know I should really do the tornado in a bottle experiment but I dont want to do the pop bottle version. Then one evening while sitting outside I saw my neighbours had those huge bottles. I said to myself, I bet the bottle tornado would really work in those & it would be alot better then the pop bottle version. So I tried it out & NEW SCIENCE FILE!!! =^D

  • Worked for me too!

  • @InstrumentalGamer wicked! =^D

  • lol the water bottle tornado turned out pretty well for me! i tried it right after i watched the video at my cousin's house who had like 5 of those big bottles

  • @warhawkpro sooooo-weet! Thanks again for your continued support, Im realy happy that you enjoy the so cool science files. =^D

  • @Socoolscienceshow oh no prob man, i really enjoy watching your videos and "trying this .."
