  • I have had my dyson for years and all the sudden it was constantly losing suction and I would have to clean the filter after every 2-3 vacuum's. It was kind of frustrating considering how much these cost. I got online to see if anyone else was having this problem and found your video. I checked my ring/gasket and it had to be pulled down just like you show. I have to wait until the morning to test - but if it works thanks in advance!

  • The gasket can also be glued in place so it won't slid up. Thanks for sharing.

  • When you insert the cyclone back into the bin you are supposed to insert when the bin lid is open, then you close the bin once the cyclone is on the bin locked in place.
