Nice routines, They're really working hard and they look like they love what they do. I sure couldn't touch my butt with my head when I was that young. I see a lot of potential in these girls. :) On a sidebar note, the third routine reminded me of Chaschina's routine in 2005, it was very beautiful, they're all doing a nice job.

This is not a competitions at all, just competition practice. There is levels in rhythmic gymnastics in USA, competitive levels start at level 3. And yes, routines judged, but during competitions only...

i did rhytmic gymnastics but sorry i dont think that you can start...where i did rsg you were not allowed to start up when you were older then 10 because you cant be as good as the others then sorry...i started when i was 6 and quit when i was 14..so last year....

You can start anything in any age... this doesn't mean you can become an olympic champion if you start gymnastics at 20, but if you just want to do the sport you love - why not?

It's never too late to work on your flexibility and strength. I am 13 too and I just started gymnastics for the first time and I notice that every single class I get stronger and more flexible each time. It just takes some time, it just doesn't happen over night. =]

We live in CT, and there is only one team - CTRG. So my daugther trains there.

I do rRhythmic too. im in level 10 =) But this girl is pretty good=) when i watched the other part of the training she wass like in there as well. sHe must be good. she just needs to keep her balances and everything and point her toes a lot and she will probably move up to level 6 =) i might poste a video of me doing my routine soon also :)

Balls can be child size or adult size. On the video she has a big, adult size ball, but we changed it to a smaller one later, because this one was too big for her small hands. Ask your coach which one is better for you.

(answer from the girl from video) Sure, my coach streches me LOTS of times during the practice. Bad leg, good leg, and side splits are all streched very hard.

About 30 minutes during every practice. Not a lot - these girls don`t do gymnastics as a big sport, just a little bit more than recreational.
