@09BFFLS The key is to press the L button immediately after so you get back onto Yoshi. Please note that this doesn't work in the Japanese version of the game.

If u go to Pianta Village first,which I did, It won't load the editing screen that normally appears when u enter a level. However, u can only do up to mission 4 till u unlock Yoshi. When u unlock Yoshi, the loading thing will appear, and it would be like going there normally.

@60namrruC On Episode 5, The Secret of the Village Underside, you have to glitch through the tree right next to the loading zone for the bonus stage by sidestepping. If you hover towards the loading zone correctly, the tree will push you into the loading zone. There is a video of it on YouTube, so type in something along the lines of "Ep 5 Yoshi Skip" and it should come up.

boat is about 1 million times easier than this. I've been trying for an hour to do this. I almost made it once, but I keep getting flustered. i've practiced for sooo long too. is there an easier way to do this? the level is easy.

@Raba22122 It takes a lot of practice and consistency. However, there is a way that is slower than this but faster than the boat method. Glitch through one of the buildings near the Sirena Beach pipe with Yoshi and go under Isle Delfino. From there, you have to keep jumping to avoid losing a life until you're under the ocean floor. At that point, simply do a Triple Jump to land on the floor and walk underwater. Then, make your way to the island and spray the pipe with Yoshi's juice.

@Raba22122 You can glitch Yoshi under the map by the shine gate. Glitch yourself under there (Gotta keep jumping constantly) keep jumping until you hit water then you can walk under water with Yoshi. ;D Its what I did to get to the pipe. Its easy to get the glitch to work, its just annoying jumping on the death barrier. Look up the glitch. :]

Unfortunately I don't have Super Mario Galaxy 2, so I wouldn't be able to tell you. However, I'm guessing it's done in there just like it's done in here - dismounting Yoshi and doing a Ground Pound immediately after.

@Kimimaru4000 It is not like that, you crouch while on yoshi then jump, the crouch resets his flutter thing.

@C10pokefan Not sure if this was answered yet but... to get the infinite flutter jump in Galaxy 2, You do a normal flutter jump with Yoshi, at the peak of that jump, Press Z and let go of A. Then Let go of Z and press A. Then Rinse and repeat.

A glitch similar to this was found in Super Mario Galaxy 2. I'm surprised it is in both games, since they have completely different engines.

Yes, X does make Mario dismount Yoshi. However, if you press L to do a Ground Pound immediately after you press X, Mario would maintain his vertical position and get right back on Yoshi.

So, how do you perform this?

You press X to dismount Yoshi and then press L right after to do a ground pound. Since you stop in mid-air when you ground pound, and since Yoshi stops in mid-air for a little bit after you dismount him, you go back onto him. I'll update the description with this.
