I have the '37 Chevy truck that my great grandfather bought new in '37, it's sitting in my garage still fully original down to the green body and black fenders. The truck will start and drive today! My Aunt drove it every day till '80 when it was parked, no lie. Boy have we turned down the offers.

Cool truck but I'll never understand what a powerbrake proves??? I got the same PB results out of a 1.3 toyota town Ace van with pizza cutters and a bleach in the washer box. Impress me toss some meats on the back and lift the front end up. PB is kid stuff. other than that cool truck

@tnachopshop well,put out some money and put a 4-speed in it,and make it really cool.back in the day of real rat rods,they didnt use automatics.were talkin 1950's time frame.were not many real good automatics for anybody.rats rods need speed and gear jammin.truck is cool,just your burnout fell on its face when it changed gears so early.cool truck,wish it was mine,with a 4-speed!

I like both styles, I like the (and I hate the term, to me its just a hot rod} RAT ROD just because its a mish mash of parts that someone put together and its often quite ingenious how they go about it. I'm not saying all of them, but as long as its relatively safe for what your using it for its all good. If your just putting around and it stops, doesn't leak (gas or brake fluid haha) then its pretty darn fun. Light weight+HP = fun... XD
