Actually, it's a Kalimba. Hugh Tracey's Alto kalimba(95% sure, i bought this model few years ago and it sounds/looks the same). The Mbira is a different instrument from the same family. I prefer kalimba. improvising on this lovely instrument is the best therapy. =)

@jimmiratsfield A kalimba is a modernized version of the mbira, both belonging to the lamellophone family of instruments from Africa. In the most strict definitions, the kalimba was designed with a chromatic scale (12 semitones between octaves) scale where traditional mbira tuning varies but does not match to a western chromatic (or any other chromatic)scale. In modern, popular usage, the words mbira and kalimba are becoming more and more interchangeable.
