that might be but he is also flying the best flying areobatic plane made. the extras and the caps dont come close. the edge has the best flying characteristics and also has the best power to weight. just an awesome plane for an awesome pilot....

WOW! Kirby Really is a terrific pilot. I just hadn't realized how advanced modern composite aircraft have become. I know these manuvers are very taxing on the body. I'm sure Red Bull has openned a lot of doors with funding Kirby to continue developing his routine. What a show!

Kirby is amazing. Not taking anything away from other pilots; they are all at the top of their game. Each one just flies different styles. The edge 540 is an amazing aircraft and kirby really knows how to take it to the edge of its performance envelope. I'm so jealous! I want an edge! That takeoff into a "hover" is very difficult. Hovering is one of the more difficult maneuvers since you have to fly with all control surfaces at once! Really amazing!
