You're half right about that... Downloads aren't going to be free. You only get 1000 free nintendo (wii, in other words) points if you get and access the nintendo shop before 2010.

Why?, the DSi is a shambles, no gba slot, no mp3 playback, same browser as the ds lite... there is little reason to upgrade if you already have a ds lite.

obviously, its faster than opera on the ds/dsl, so the dsi has the ram-expansion already built in.

Typical nintendo, skimping on litterally everything to make maximum profit, including the already obsurdly cheap franhuer licences for MP3 decoding, bigger screens!, oh wow that must mean expensive! not really, it's the exact same resolution just stretched out, meaning each pixel is much bigger than it was before, and that my friend is what dictates the price of an LCD panel, not it's size, but the ammount and density of the pixels it has.

ok, acc is a higher quality playback than mp3. The browser isn't the same as the ds one because it needed the gba ram cartrige and i think this one is downloadable. it just looks the same. and no gba slot... gba is dying now, if you want to play gba, get yourself a damn emulator or buy a damn gba at a gamestore for about 20 dollars and a game for 5.
