Inside the 10 yard line Tebow thrives...You cant run a SMALLER guy(Burton) in that SMALLER box, with Tebow-like play calls. You have to give a smart, quick runner with great vision and instincts room to manevuer. Therfore, that draw, option-style play should be a 20 yard line play call.
Meyer needs to put his loyalty aside,and put whats best for the team first.The qb coach,should call plays for brantley,and let addazio deal with burton.Let burton run ALL theoption plays..not brantley.As far as pouncey,i agree,after the south florida game,i said,if he has one more bad snap?MOVE HIM BACK!Let robey play center.simple stuff,why put a new qb through this?And what?They can watch tapes of teams run basic ''i''formation?And LEARN from it?Short yardage,qb sneak,two tight ends..anyone?
I agree with TheGatorfan93 bc their still trying to run plays as if Tebow was taking snaps lol - get over it Tebow and Brantly are two totally different QBs - play calling should have been adjust in the off season for Brantlys skill sets. Last Gators need a true center, while Pouncey is an all -american but hes not a true center which will cause havoc on the timing - throwing off Brantly and the recvs and thus the entire offense (get the center right first then adjust play calling second)
Adazzio i think is better suited for an option qb.Everyone questioned his playcalling last year in the sec title game,but had the receivers simply caught the ball?Well,you would have watched as people said ''wow,great gameplan''.They need to scale back in a major way,the running game with brantley.2 questions,in the redzone,why no ''i'' formation,power football,and great passing options?Gillislee..no moody.Also,if burton is gonna run plays in the redzone,why no option with demps?WAKE UP!
