@plasmametroid Well said bro. I have no connection to the Seattle Scene, I was just a kid. But the entire scene was just so raw, honest and loud. Fucking amazing time for rock.
@PurpleGreenHaze According to music historians, they say that Soundgarden's records from 1987 to 1989 is considered "Seattles Best Kept Secret"....
Screaming Life 1987
Ultramega OK 1988
And Louder than Love 1989... Anyone who is trying to fill their mind with a piece of history should fucking own these records... Im glad people like us exist to share this music in hopes of getting grunge's "best kept secret" across the fucking map...
@PurpleGreenHaze Honestly i think it would be impossible to emulate what they did back in that eminent time. And now, that intense, untamed, ferocity is lost in modern rock music. Soundgarden is one of few rockbands that does such a thing so tastefully... People fucking criticize perfect records like this because the "production" is lacking. Now the reverb and echoes are gone because it became "commercialized"...? Old school sound garden for life...
@scorpioring36 Drug induced and lost beneath limitless depths would be the perfect description.... If such a feeling can be emulated without even having to taking a substance to experience such an unsettling sensation, then Soundgarden did a fucking good job...
Honestly, my favourite Soundgarden song. Sure, Cornell's had better vocal performances, particularly Beyond the Wheel (live), but the operatic perfection of this piece speaks for itself.
Pure bad ass, in your fukkin face grunge! One of the better Soundgarden masterpieces.

Truly the quintessential anthem for anyone who works a shitty, dead-end, minimum wage job. GRUNGE MOTHER FUCKER!
