I'm just getting into bow hunting and shooting. And ur vids r awesome. A lot of info and u r entertaining. Just learning about fobs. And was wondering when ur sighting in and just target shooting do u use ur fobs and reg fletching. If ur shooting a tight group won't u destroy ur fobs just as u would normal fletching. U should only pick one right. Sry If this is a stupid question.
@grttaxi Kenny, love your tips they help alot and great job on the body makeover but my question is what are Double Doggs? The talk about them on the onestringer site
kenny I c that you push down the wrap after you put it on. so would you wipe the wrap down with assaton before you put the vans on. or are you not worried about it because you going to use fobs?
@bigmusic39 if you use acetone you will mess up the wrap and cause the design on it to be smeard. Your hands will be clean enough after the initial cleaning of the shafts and you wont be touching the wraps that much
you dont paper tune arrows, the tuning is for the rest and the nock. befor paper tuning the old schoolers used un-fletched arrows to tune with, by shooting the target and seeing how the arrow is setting sticking out of the target.
Hey kenny i allways shot fletched arrows and im thinking about to change to fobs. Do fobs breake often if you hit then with another arrow or something?
yeah they can break when hit by another arrow but they usually pop off with no damage. When you shoot animals they are ok and wont break, they are really no different than standard fletching just more accurate

Hi there. If the shaft is thinner than the wrap(nano shafts), would you trim the wrap or just overlap it?

Do you have to line up fobs with broadheads
MattCHollis1988 1 year ago
@MattCHollis1988 Its always a good idea to do align your fletchungs. Its easy with FOBs just turn them.
