Meat is Murder is the ultimate Smiths record. The Smiths is a litle repetitive and the Queen Is Dead is not of Smiths subject but differnt and moor conceptual. I'm afraid i havnt herd Strange Ways Here We Come but as far as I'm concrned, if your new to the Smiths, start with Meat Is Murder
Oh and what makes one person more worthy of giving recommendations than another? I doubt you've heard absolutely everything the smiiths have ever recorded. So, compared to one who has, are you saying that YOU should NOT be telling anyone where to start?
Meat is Murder was the first Smiths music I ever heard here in the Nowhere Land of Mississippi USA back in 1986. Hooked ever since, but I cannot listen to this album any other time of year except late summer. Weird how real music has that effect on you.
one of my favorite songs....

not gonna lie Mos sounds a little flat here. His voice itself still sounds nice though. Marr's guitar sounds nice as well.

no offense, but someone who has not heard all of the albums should not be telling people who are "new" where to start

I did not suggest a starting point for someone new. Read more thoroughly next time

I did not in any way suggest that you were suggesting a starting point for someone new, you need to read my comment more thoroughly next time.
