  • My friend, not only I like, but I envy your talent.

  • The Best! Thanks

  • wow! can I hug you dude !?!?

  • well played, Keith would be delighted. I can't find part 2

  • clever , very clever!

  • Pretty good job, but you rush in some places - if you were playing with a drummer, it would've sounded sloppy. I learned this piece 30 years ago, but now can only shit my way through a few bars, so if you want to keep it in your repertoire, play it once a week - it's easy to forget some of the aquatarkus parts! And yeah, why no organ or minimoog?

  • Faaantastic job!

  • Tarkus is one of my all time favorite songs an this is a fantastic rendition of the organ/synth/bass guitar version originated by a phenominal prog. rock group who started it all.

  • Envy this playing:)

  • Cool hearing the piece done all on piano ... kind of like an "unplugged" version ....

  • OMG !!!!! You is THE HERO ;D

  • Well done. But I would have liked to hear some of the other keyboards used also. This is a synthesizer piece! I believe I see a Minimoog D???

  • Absolutely brilliant! I dropped my jaw.

  • I LOVE IT, YOU PLAY IT BETTER THAN THE WRITER

  • ya know .... i saved this a long time ago and listen to it alot .... you are an amazing pianist ......i'm in awe of your talent .... thanks again for this ..... i wish others could hear this ..... this should easily have half a million hits on this vid .... :)

  • WOW!

  • Amazing, great execution! I swear, It left me breathless.

  • Wow!!!!...frickin excellent!!!... well done!!!

  • thats just soooo damn good .... thanks for this

  • Wonderful stuff

  • This is so technical! Phenomenal!

  • OMG!!!

  • really amazing!

  • Amazing...

  • Bardzo dobre (very good) 5/5

  • absolutely perfect

  • 滑らか

  • Wow...All i can say is Genius....A breathtaking interpretation of Emerson's work & wonderfully played! Absolutely love it!

  • All I have to say is I didn't fall off my chair. IMHO there's no interpretation here, just mere imitation, I think Keith's dynamics are much more expressive, and the musical phrasing which is so crucial somehow dissolves here. Isao sports great speed and precision though .

  • Five stars !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Excellent!

  • anyone familiar with the music of ELP I think would have to appreciate this..totally awesome!!!

  • awsm!!!!! 5 star

  • Fantastic played!

  • does anyone know where i can find any sites that transcribe Keiths keyboard parts?? i am trying to learn them on guitar

  • just awesome...!!!!

  • i wish i could give you more than 5 stars dude, thats F.. AMAZING.

  • スゲー!!感動しました!エマーソンって上手かったんですねー。左手が人間とは思えません。すごすぎます。友達にも見るように勧めます。有難うございました!

  • YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Proper job!

  • i wasn't too convinced of this being good until 0:24 and i saw he had the emotion required to play this song accurately. all you need is that weird shoestring headband and an unbuttoned hawaiian shirt and you'll not only have the keith emerson touch, but the look as well.

  • bravo!

  • beatifull

  • 優秀

  • Awesome job man. One of my favorite all time songs and you nailed it! Keep it up.

  • I spoke too soon (re: my earlier comment to see an all piano version of Tarkus)...thanks! Wonderful stuff!

  • I love your left hand :)

  • Once more, it's Crazy!!! Insane!!! I've never seen nobody playing so like this!!! Simply umbeliveble!!! Great Isao!!! God bless you too much!!!

  • Holy ass, this is ludicrous.

  • Please post MORE. I could watch you all day. Make a CD ...anything.

  • Genius level playing of a masterpiece. This is the most fluent and 'spirited' version of ELP I've heard - and that's a lot of attempts. This guy is an inspiration - to keep trying! He shows that it IS possible.

  • You are right, but have you seen aki kuroda? And with a great inspiring percussioniste.

  • perfect music and great look a la emerson!

  • Dang Dude!

If I could play like that, I wouldn't have to

    work in a factory!

    Rock On! Excellent!

  • KICK ASS !!

  • Ah Ah, killer performance. Very good. Piano version is even harder than Organ...

    amazing.

  • Keith never put his works to piano. This is the best we get.

  • way to attack that bass part right from the get-go!

  • awesome and very accurate job------was hoping for a little singing----"has the dawn........."just as a little contrast,,that's all,to your great playing--------how long, how many hours to work it out?

    Jonas

  • virtually flawless with a real personal touch.

Would love to see the Mr Ten Percent by Triumvirat (at least the solo) if you know the song.

    Cheers

  • Incredible!! Thank you!

  • Very good. It's fantastic¡

Please Where could be able the score The year of the cat of Al Steward? Some of you has or knows it the place from which it is possible to be unloaded? Thanks, beforehand.

  • Absolutelly FANTASTIC!

  • I love the energy. It captures the intensity and tensions in the piece quite well.

    Well done!!!!

  • i like it more than the original...

  • Perfect!!!!!

  • Aeeeeeeew ,you can put feelin' in it ,that's sounds great !! Congratulations

  • Great job putting the ultimate Hammond work to piano. Bravo!

  • The original scored for piano, then adapted for the trio. Sadly never performed by Keith, only the 'speed' version when in the band, Aliens with Extraordinary Ability exists.

Excellent Isao - really attacking the piece.

    Thanks

  • Your performance is actually wonderful!

  • complimenti sei un mostro

    veramente forte

    grande

  • Actually I really love this.

  • Practice makes perfect. Now what he needs is a screaming B3, an excess of testosterone, a pair of tight black leather pants, a fearsome looking dagger to wield, and a big set of balls to bring it all together. Oh yes, one more thing: The 'X-Factor' that only a precious few in many millions are born with, like Keith Emerson himself. But Isao dude, you're still cool!

  • Yes, you are right! The dagger! Oh No - THE DAGGER!

  • WONDERFUL PERFORMANCE, saves me having to put my performance on youtube, ha ha!

  • Strepitoso!!!

  • it's brilliant,it's the world turned around, classic musicians adapting a rockmusician's work rather than a rockmusician adapting a classic work

  • Excellent! Love it!

  • I can hardly imagine a greater compliment to Keith Emerson. This rendition is as intense and virtuosic as the original! I am quite impressed!! Subarashii!!

  • Very nice! I especially like the way you execute the synth part at the beginning of Eruption filling in the chords by crossing the hands over. Also, you play the improvised section in Stones of Years with more of a jazz swing feel than the original. Totally sweet!

  • I hate this guy, how can he play so well???

    He rocks.

Does anyone know where I can find a scre for this song? I don´t care who´s wrote it.

  • Hi,He can play so well because he practices! ;-) It's by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. The music isn't in print anymore, but I have a copy if you'd like it.

  • The music was solely composed by Keith Emerson. Check out his site for sheet music. Also check out full version of Tarkus on piano by Ed Macan/posted.

  • Very nice¡¡ Toda la grandiosidad de K. Emerson. Aquí hay jazz, clásica, rock, todo comprimido en esta pieza. Thank you Isao.

  • The left hand work is brilliant and your attack adds even more of a dramatic approach to this piece, very nice. The slight rythm change in the slow section forms a unique alternative.

  • you wouldnt happen to have the sheet music to that (or any other ELP) would you?

  • wow nice

  • Bravo!

  • Is u can play dawg!

  • I can't even begin to think how to respond to this statement.

    I mean... yikes.

(By the way, please check out Ryo Okomoto from Spock's Beard. Oh, and the bands KBB and Kenso. Schmuck.)

  • Simply not true. This is entirely a racist opinion. You simply have not been following the Japanese or Chinese rock scene. I personally know at least 10 caucasians in rock bands in my area alone that completely SUCK. ;-)

  • dude you should be in a band

  • awesome!

  • Fantastic! The best ELP cover I've seen on YouTube.
