Besides the obvious injustice that Hollywood does to Blacks by always killing a Black person first in a movie, Hollywood just don't know how to follow guidelines about certain characters when it comes to making a movie off of Comic Book Characters. Darwin is. in a sense, IMMORTAL! Maybe the next movie they make is about the Inhumans, and they'll have Black Bolt as the protagonist, and give him tons of VOCAL dialogue. SMH.
Of course feel free to ignore this suggestion, but consider "My Way" by Limp Bizkit? I'm not sure how well it will fit, but just putting the idea out there.

Deadly Genesis is the first saga in which he appears, he is "killed" by Krakoa, but he just evolves into a beign of pure energy and rests within Vulcan, resurrecting years later. During World War Hulk his power makes him teleport away so he can survive, which proves he does not have control over his power.

He has no control over how his abilities manifest themselves, and his powers are usually directly related to his own survival, and not necessarily winning a battle. When he fought the Hulk, originally, his body adapted to absorb Gamma radiation. Hulk put off way too much to absorb, so Darwin's body decided the best way to survive was to teleport himself across three states, essentially taking himself out of the fight...
A good place to find comics is a book store like Borders or Barnes & Noble. They also put out collections of several comics in book form. "World War Hulk" would be the one where Darwin encounters Hulk, and "Deadly Genesis" would be the one with Darwin's origin. You can also try Amazon.

Last two X-Men movies have a black actor playing a mutant getting killed half way thru the film. I don't understand the point of even placing black actors in comic movies just to kill them off. Just use all white actors! If I was the black actor, I woundn't play the part. Why no Static Shock movie? We all know the answer to that! If Static Shock was a white character the movie would have been out by now. It's not all that serious but, that is the main reason most blacks don't watch comic movies.

@beckstar2010 well it was set in the 1960's, so yes, it would fit with the prejudices of it's time. So while today we can pick up on that, in that era that would be commonplace, so fits with the time period.

@Teatime7771 This movie takes place in the 60s. Meaning in order for Scott to be a teen in THIS film...he'd had to of been born in the 40s or 50s. Which would make him around 50 in the 2000 X-Men movie. That would throw his entire timeline off and would make no sense. Especially since they already established him as a teenager in the Wolverine movie (which took place in the 80s). Now...as far as Emma Frost. No clue why the decided to mess with her timeline and I too don't like it.

This sounds like a great character. But I hate the fact that First class does not have Cyclops and Jean. They are the first two students. How can you have the first class without them?

@Teatime7771 because the point of first class is to deal with segragation and the cuban missle crisis, and if cyclops and jean were in it, then they would be 50-60 in x men 1, and scott would not be in highschool in origins

@GameCreatorJJ Than why have Havok. He is suppose to be younger than Scott. Now he is older? Makes no sense. Niether does having Emma Frost in it. She was in hthe Wolverine movie so how does that match up with this film. AGAIN CRAP!! Scott could have been a teenager in this film. That would have worked. THIS FILM SUCKS!!

@Teatime7771 emma is a powerful telepath, so it could go 1 of 3 ways, she is from 60s and using her mind powers to make people think shes younger, she is forced a youth serum, she is a differant character, Havok probably wont have relation to scott, maybe older bro, or dad? if scott was a teen in the film, like fox wanted, then it would have taken away the vision set by mathew , and he wouldnt have put any effort into it, it would have been a crappy film with crap versions of characters you lke

@Teatime7771 This movie takes place in the 60s. Meaning in order for Scott to be a teen in THIS film...he'd had to of been born in the 40s or 50s. Which would make him around 50 in the 2000 X-Men movie. That would throw his entire timeline off and would make no sense. Especially since they already established him as a teenager in the Wolverine movie (which took place in the 80s). Now...as far as Emma Frost. No clue why the decided to mess with her timeline and I too don't like it.

@Nemle22 They shouldn't have attached this to the orginal franchise. They should have just rebooted the comic. Why make Havok older than Cyc now? That is not true to the comic. Havok is suppose to be Cyc's younger brother not older or his father. This whole movie sucks. I am waiting til it comes out on dvd. Then I will rent it.
