Thanks for the comments and well wishes on the premiere at the SNOB Film Fest tonight. I'll be there for the replay on Saturday to answer questions about the video if you're in the Concord NH area.
@superturkeylegs It's another song of ours 'A Recipe for Love' we did for the Masters of Song Fu competition. We had to write about a recipe, so we did a Frank n'sync version (Frankenstein meets n'Sync) with puns and monster thematics.
@superturkeylegs I don't think he ignores them - as a scientist, he doesn't think they're a priority in his life. He doesn't have the balance in his life to deal with social graces. Jan tries to help him with that shortcoming, but it's a long road to get there.
Hank always interested me because unlike batman or superman or all other DC heroes because Hank has problems like all of us so he's more realistic. All the dc heroes are really robotic and don't have issues.
Personally no my taste in music, but it is a good portrayal to the character.
I agree he is the most screwed up in the Marvel, but he is the one with the best kind of redemption story in comparision to the others. I guess thats why Henry Pym is so good, the way he deals with his many faults in life.
@dollargig true - Henry's been through a lot in his life. We only touched on the early years - the song was getting too long as it was. Maybe a sequel is in Hanks' future.
@glenra Thanks. We're pretty happy with the way it came out. If we had more time, we'd have probably condensed a few of the verses to cut the length down, but it seems to hold together well.
@RockingJamboree In fact, he did. He also built a robot to terrorize people, so he could defeat it, and the Avengers would think he was a 'good' guy again.
@RockingJamboree Hank is one screwed up puppy. He's mellowed out to be a more 'elder statesman' of the Avengers, but the early storylines were not the most complimentary to him.
Hadn't thought about the similarities to Syndrome. I don't think he'd steal a super's kid to turn him against them tho... not quite his style.

The song type sound sounds sad, just liike Hank. He's got so many problems he ignores.

Such a dick.

Oh come on, Hank Pym is fucking awesome.

@WhereDaBootz I agree - Mr Pym is an awesome individual. He's had his problems, but eventually comes out the other side a better person.
We didn't have enough time in the song to go much further than his first few years as an Avenger. The song still runs long as it is!
BoffoYuxDudes 1 year ago
@BoffoYuxDudes
True. You should do a mini-song about his latest incarnation as the Wasp. Leading the Mighty Avengers and all that.
WhereDaBootz 1 year ago
Smooth. Jazzy. Funny. Did Hank really beat up on the Wasp?

Complex, screwed up guy, that Pym.

@BoffoYuxDudes Wait! "Built a robot to terrorize people, so he could defeat it"? Hank Pym is Syndrome!
