@NLx360 Junior means it was the affordable model in it's day. Juniors were not made to be anything amazing. it has nothing to do with nobs or p-ups.

Hmmm. This is clearly NOT a 58 reissue, which is a double cut. The only single cut is the '57 custom shop reissue, which this is also not, as it doesn't have the angled wrap around tailpiece. This appears to simply be the new production Les Paul Jr., not a reissue.

@cartesianmed it is a reissue of a 1958 Les Paul Junior , I have the same guitar , but mine isn't the faded red ....... tell me why would they lie and sully their reputation ?

How well does the tone potentiometer work at approximating a neck pickup?

I played one of these once, it had a factory installed humbucker, I didn't even want to plug it in because not only did the neck have the absolute worst satin finish ever, I could feel the paint overlapping the fretboard, almost like the fretboard was too small. Horrible.

This guitar rocks. I have one myself. People don't realise how much guitar they're getting with just one pickup. If you want to rock out completely with an affordable Gibson, this is it.
