most of it is because of American censors who claim that the large plot is a "no no", so a majority of it is butchered.

Look at the Mazinger Z anime, most of it is uncensored and dubbed in Spanish

No cobra is a very violent cartoon. More a cartoon for adult, but this episode is ridiculous most of time you have naked girls fight and snuff.
